S/mileage – “Uchoten LOVE” Radio Preview Released

A radio preview for S/mileage’s 6th single titled Uchoten LOVE has been released.

We are still a few months away from release but we finally get to listen to the studio version of the song and for the most part I love it even more since it has a great catchy beat along with great effects and while the preview might be a bit too short it is long enough to give us an idea about what to expect.

There are many effects that we couldn’t hear in the concert rip, like the many Tsunku voices during some of the lines (many, many Tsunku voices) as well as some effects that were used for the members but I was surprised to hear that for most of the preview the vocals for the members weren’t filled with effects, I can only remember once when Kanon made a sound that had an echo near the middle of the preview, but for the most part that was it.

The instrumental is loud and clear but for the synthesizer doesn’t sound that strong during most of the song, for the most part it’s strong during the start and after someone stops singing but the vocals are perfectly understandable which is perfect since we can hear how each member (or only one member, it’s hard to tell) takes a turn saying a vocal of the word “Ma-i-ni-chi” after a few of the lines.

Hopefully everyone can check out the preview before it’s taken down since it’s a great song that sounds like an impressive and powerful release, and while there are too many Tsunku voices in the song, some with somewhat scary effects, I really enjoyed the song and I’m looking forward to hearing the full song and seeing the PV.

The release date is set for 8/6.

Mano Erina’s Profile Picture Updated For “My Days For You”

Mano Erina’s profile picture has been updated for her 10th single titled My Days For You.

Mano’s profile pictures usually aren’t like the other members in H!P since instead of seeing a studio photo shoot we usually see an alternate shot of her from the photo shoot of the cover for her singles, which is an interesting thing to do since it sets her apart from the others and gives her profile pictures a more natural look compared to the solid colored backgrounds from the other members, and like her other profile pictures this picture doesn’t disappoint.

In the picture we get to see Mano playing with her hair while sitting on a bed, and if most of you remember the Single V cover then it should look pretty familiar since it’s the same setting from where she stood near the door looking out, and while it might be leaning a bit into the PB styled shots I really like the way it turned out since we get to see her in a cute pose while looking at the camera, and being a big Mano fan I am happy with that since she looks amazing.

This most likely isn’t the outfit for her new single (it isn’t) so I wouldn’t expect to see her wearing this outfit during her PV (at least in outdoor shots) but it’s a really great shot showing off her beauty and with her baby blue colored outfit it blends in perfectly with the rest of the room.

Hopefully fans reserved their copy of the single since it looks like this will be a great release for her since it has a catchy ballad sound, and while we haven’t seen the main PV with only one week until the single is released, fans will most likely be able to see it when they buy the Limited Edition A of the single, but for now Mano’s profile picture is as amazing as always.

Official “Miyuki’s Wind Bell” Site Opened

The site for the movie featuring Mano Erina titled Miyuki’s Wind Bell has been opened.

The site isn’t technically a full site since it’s just a separate set of pages on the director’s site but it is still a great thing to see since we can find out a bit more about the movie and what to expect once we get to see the movie.

Thankfully the site has an English section with translations of the content, and while most of the sections might not have much (like the Intro section which just says “A bell that rings true is one that brings you home”) there is a story section that gives us a summary of the movie:

Miyuki is a sophisticated Tokyo girl who has to take her two half-brothers and spend several days in the country with her grandmother. Upon arriving, away from any cell reception or the comforts of modernity, she struggles to understand her grandmother as she performs her daily prayer underneath a rusty wind chime.

Genki, a village boy, takes Miyuki to the forest to show her its natural wonders, and as she goes with him she orders her clingy half-brothers not to follow. In order to impress her further, Genki takes her even deeper to a hidden place where an unexploded World War II bomb is found, rusting away between the flowers. Miyuki dares him to remove its arming pin, but soon grows bored with this game. Upon returning to her grandmother, however, she learns of a painful connection between her grandmother’s wind chime and the unexploded piece of history.

Apart from that there isn’t much else since the photo and trailer section have a “Coming Soon” sign and with the black background and simple layout it doesn’t impress that much, although everytime you click a different section a new header uploads which shows off a few scenes of the movie, for example in the few clicks I made I saw a picture of Mano with a grandma, Mano looking up at the sky, 2 children who I think are the half-brothers of Genki, and one of the actors who I think is Genki.

It’s simple but worth a look so hopefully everyone can check it out, but for now I’m looking forward to seeing how the movie will turn out since we have already seen the trailer (when the movie was announced) and now we have an accurate summary of the story, but we should probably see it when it is released in a few weeks.

The release date for the movie is set for this June.
