Yajima Maimi & Nakajima Saki Staring in New Movie Titled “Zomvideo”

Yajima Maimi and Nakajima Saki will be starring in a movie together called “Zomvideo”

From the title many of you might be expecting yet another horror movie, but according to the site it’s a comedy movie, which was quite unexpected. From the promo picture and title I’m sure it involve zombies and with that being said it might feature some unsightly things like brains and flesh because that’s the image I get when I hear zombies.

C-ute’s 17th single Sekai ichi happy na onna no ko will be used as the movie’s ending theme which I find a bit odd. I just can’t picture such a happy song being for a movie involve zombies since it’s the total opposite of the song. They might’ve chosen this song because Maimi and Nakky are the stars in this movie so it should provide some nice promotion for the single.

The movie will be release in 2012, it doesn’t specify if that release will be for DVD or theaters and there will be 2 movie screenings available on 10/12 and 10/16.

It’s still about a month away before the screening but hopefully we can get a preview soon.

Nakajima Saki – “W Saki” Making Of DVD Announced

A making of DVD for Nakajima Saki’s 2nd PB titled W Saki has been announced.

I have to say that I was surprised when I saw this announcement since Nakky’s first solo release was set to be only a PB with no DVD release, so most fans though that this second release would be the same, but it’s pretty impressive to see that they managed to make a making of DVD available since this probably means that the PB sold well.

Solo DVDs that come along PBs usually feature the making of of the PB release, so this isn’t a big change, but it will most probably include less content and bonuses, althoug we might be surprised and figure out it’ll contain some interesting things later on, but for now, it’s still great news for all Nakky fans who would like to support her and reserve a copy since this PB is one of the best any H!P member has released lately judging from the previews we got a while back.

Overall, I’m really happy about this announcement since Nakky definitely deserves it and this will please all of her fans so hopefully everyone can pre-order a copy!

The pre-order date is from 7/25 until 8/13.

H!P Releases July 15

There is only one release today, but Nakajima fans will probably be looking forward to this release since today it’s all about her new PB.

Official Nakajima Saki Blog Opened

Nakajima Saki has opened up an Ameba Blog titled Blog day’s.

I’m glad to see that another blog has been opened since it gives fans a chance to catch up and stay up to date with a member’s daily life, and while Nakky might already have another Gree blog I’m happy to see that she did get an Ameba blog since they are  usually really easier to read.

Apart from featuring the usual misspelling the blog banner looks pretty good since it has the same black and white or innocent and evil theme that her PB has, and with the title in red and a picture of Nakky in a cute white dress along with a picture of her in a sexy black outfit it completes the banner pretty well and makes it stand out among others.

Hopefully fans can check out her new blog since it looks great so far, and although I wish another member who didn’t have a blog would get one I am glad to see that there will be more Nakky blog posts for fans to enjoy.

“LIVE NEXT!! Featuring Hello! Project” Event Announced

Two one day events featuring a selection of members from Berryz Koubou and C-ute along with S/mileage titled LIVE NEXT!! Featuring Hello! Project have been announced.

The selection for members from Berryz Koubou and C-ute include Shimizu Saki, Tokunaga Chinami, Kumai Yurina, Yajima Maimi, and Nakajima Saki.

The clear details about what the members will do at the event have not been revealed but the site mentions that they will appear alongside a member of the Nankai Candies and there will be a live chat with girls and more live fun.

It’s always fun to see events where members from two groups can appear, and with what appears to be a unique theme this event will most likely be very interesting for fans since the focus seems to be not on performing but on a chat with girls and other activities, for example the page mentioned the making of a stage director.

I’m not that clear on what the event will be but I encourage fans in the area to attend one to find out for sure since the appearance of both Berryz and C-ute members in a five member team along with S/mileage the next day will be fun to see.

The events will start at 18:00 (JST) and will feature members from Berryz and C-ute on 9/3 and S/mileage on 9/4 at the Nippon Seinen Kan in Tokyo.

Nakajima Saki – “W Saki” Cover And Details Released

The cover and more details concerning Nakajima Saki’s 2nd PB titled W Saki have been released.

As you might have already seen on the post about the announcement of the PB, the cover of this special release from Nakky features her in a very cute and little white dress while her hair is tied in low pigtails, and we can now see clearly the details like the title which is written mainly in black, and has it’s reflect underneath in white (to accentuate the PB’s theme), as well as her name written diagonally in black, while the background seems to be a room with a bed and a pink pool accessory.

Along with this HQ cover, we got to see the back cover of the PB posted by Nakky on her blog, which seems a little like the things are being rushed, but since her PB will be released soon (in 15 days), it’s nice to see those hints that she is giving us since the back cover seems to be the “black” side of the PB, while the front cover is the “white” one, which is a really nice touch since it only makes the theme more present, and her expression and pose on the back cover look really gorgeous.

Some more details are also out from the FC announcement about the PB: it will contain scenes of Nakky in angel/devil costumes, scenes of her in the kitchen, another scene around the theme of “see through black shirt” (although I have no idea what this could be about…). Those many various scenes really reflect the main focuz of the PB which is the contrast, specially through the devil and angel costumes that I can’t wait to see her in.

Overall, I’m really excited about this release since it’s something really special that not many H!P members get to experience in their PBs, so hopefully all Nakky fans can reserve a copy and support her.

Nakajima Saki 2nd PB Announced, Titled “W Saki”

A second PB for Nakajima Saki titled W Saki has been announced.

I was very pleased about this announcement since it has been quite some time since Saki’s first solo release which was pretty impressive thanks to her natural beauty and gorgeous figure, so I’m sure this will please all of her fans who are waiting for this eagerly.

Event though we didn’t get a confirmation about a DVD coming along with this release, it most probably should be announced sooner or later unless they just want her to be releasing a solo PB for fans to enjoy, but even if she doesn’t get her 2nd solo DVD, I hope that everyone can purchase a copy to support her.

The title of the PB doesn’t give out a clear theme that the PB might have, but it’s still very cute and attractive (I immediately though of the unit “W”), so we’ll have to wait and see what kind of theme it will have since I’m sure that Nakky’s releases won’t disappoint anyone.

Overall, I’m really happy to see that Nakky is getting another solo release since this will please her fans as well as give her some exposure, so hopefully everyone can reserve a copy soon.

EDIT: A preview of the cover has been released, it’s still LQ but gives us a clear theme and some details are out thanks to claneski@ H!O

The cover is really interesting since it looks different from usual releases since Nakky is taking a pose very cute and attractive in a short yellow outfit with pigtails, holding a white sheet where the title is written in black with it’s white reflection underneath, which seems to fit the criteria described in the following:

– The title read “Double Saki”
– The theme is ‘black and white’
– Various version of Nakky, from her idol to mature self
– Published by KidsNet, so most likely there won’t be an image dvd, just like her first.

When I read those, I was at first a little disappointed since it seems that she won’t get a solo DVD, but the whole idea of the PB with the “double” sides going from the title to her pictures seem really interesting and I can’t wait until we get some previews and a clearer cover!

Suzuki Airi, Nakajima Saki And Hagiwara Mai To Appear At “Japan Girls Meeting”

It was announced that 3 C-ute members, Suzuki Airi, Nakajima Saki and Hagiwara Mai will make an appearance at this year’s Japan Girls Meeting.

From what I understand, this meeting is a sort of fashion show where Japanese girls can come and check out all the latest trends in clothes and accessories, see models walk in special outfits and such, which seems an important event and a really interesting one for all Japanese girls.

Airi, Nakky and Maimai have been announced as “Guests” and on the site’s main page, they are placed under the “Guest Models” section along with other various female artists, which is something really special for the girls who will be able to walk in different outfits, model, and have fun during those 2 days.

Overall, I’m really happy about this announcement since it will give more exposure for the girls and hopefully they will enjoy their time there.

The show will take place on 5/21 – 22.

Nakky and Maimai will be attending on both days on Stages 1 and 2 while Airi will only attend on 5/21 on Stages 1 and 2.

Hello! Project – “e-Hello!” DVD Series Announced

A new series of  Hello! Project DVDs titled e-Hello! has been announced.

The first member to go will be Nakajima Saki which DVD will be titled Hidamari (Eng: Sunny Spot) and in the first e-Hello! video released by C-ute’s channel on YouTube, Nakky talks a bit about this new concept and promotes her new DVD before showing a preview. The title is quite interesting since it fits well with Nakky’s personality and fits whith the general theme we get to see in the whole preview.

As for the preview itself which seems to be the same as the normal DVDs we get to see from the members, Saki acts cutely and smiles at the camera taking different poses between some grass, on a road, in a house (Cafe) and in a room that are always sunny and calm wearing different outfits all accompanied by a calm instrumental.

According to the e-LineUp page about the product, the DVD wil feature and Interview and a Making Of along with an Opening and Ending from Nakky herself, which we get to see in the beginning and end of the video.

This new series is quite intriguing since I didn’t notice anything different from the traditional solo DVD releases apart the Interview maybe and the new layout, and I wish to see all of the members who only have 1 solo DVD like Nakky to get their e-Hello! DVD first, but I hope that this will be a unique release, since no PB additions were mentionned.

Hopefully, all H!P members get a chance to participate in this series and have their own solo e-Hello! DVD, and since all of Momusu, Berryz and C-ute members now have at least one solo release, fans must know what to expect and hopefully support them.

The release date is set for 2/5.

Nakajima Saki and Okai Chisato Will Be In A Stage Play

Nakajima Saki and Okai Chisato have announced that they will be part of a stage play titled 1974 Ikunayo.

I’m glad that Nakky and Chisa are getting a chance to star in a play since they certainly have great talents in acting, and since Nakky has quite enough experience from acting alongside Morning Musume members in plays and movies I am excited to see what the play will be like.

For now the play has just been announced so we don’t have a flyer for the play to show us the theme, but most likely we will get to see one during the next few weeks.

Hopefully Nakky and Chisa fans go to the play since it seems like it will be a unique and interesting event.

The play will run from 3/17 to 3/22 at the following times:
