Tsuji Nozomi- Talk Show Event & New Book Announced

31 05 2011

Tsuji Nozomi will be holding a talk show event and releasing another book titled “Non-chanpuru -mother-.”

It’s not too surprising that Tsuji is releasing another book, since that’s mostly what she’s being doing since she’s had children. This book’s title clearly hints at motherhood and I’m sure it’s based on her experiences as a mother.

I’m assuming that the talk show will be used as promotion for her book since it’s being held a day after her book releases. I also believe this is her first appearance after having Seia (her 2nd child) so she may talk about life with two children and maybe she’ll talk about how Seia is doing.

Tsuji has really grown since her H!P days so hopefully everyone, fans new and old can support her and reserve a copy of her book.

Her book releases on 6/17 and her talk show event is set for 6/18.

Tsuji Nozomi Announces Name For Her 2nd Child

29 12 2010

On one of Tsuji’s blog posts she announced that her son is named Sugiura Seia.

Seia means “blue skies” and she gave him that name because the day he was born the weather was good and Sugiura is the family name (or last name).

I think the name is very creative and I love that it has a meaning behind it. I also find his name unique because it’s winter and I’m assuming Japan might have some rain/snow or even be cloudy on most days so having a clear blue sky is somewhat rare during this time of year, unless your living in the tropics.

Congratulations again to the Sugiura family for their newest addition to the family and we all hope that everyone is doing well!

Tsuji Nozomi Has Given Birth To Her 2nd Child

26 12 2010

After a recent blog post that her water had broken and she was in labor a few hours ago, Tsuji Nozomi has posted that her 2nd child, a boy, has been born.

She hasn’t stated what his name will be but he was born at 1:32 PM on December 26 and weighs 2.7 kg.

I was a bit surprised to see that Tsuji seemed to be calm throughout the event since she managed to post that her water had broken on her blog a few hours ago, but it’s great to see that everything went perfectly and that there is a new member of the Sugiura family.

It’s great to point out that the baby and Noa were both born on the 26th (Noa was born on 11/26 and the baby on 12/26), so most likely those two months will be somewhat busy next year for the happy couple, and while she hasn’t revealed a name yet we will most likely get to find out soon after Tsuji gets a chance to rest.

Congratulations Tsuji and Taiyo!

Morning Musume OG Concert Tour 2011 Announced

24 12 2010

A concert tour for Morning Musume OG titled Dream Morning Musume Concert Tour 2011 Haru no Mai ~Sotsugyousei DE Saikessei~ has been announced.

Acording to the announcement Nakazawa Yuko, Iida Kaori, Abe Natsumi, Yasuda Kei, Yaguchi Mari, Ishikawa Rika, Yoshizawa Hitomi, Tsuji Nozomi, Ogawa Makoto, Fujimoto Miki, and Kusumi Koharu will be participating in the concert tour (basically everyone except Konno Asami).

I’m glad to see that they decided to do a Morning Musume OG tour since it has been a while since we last saw them perform together, and while Konno won’t be able to perform (most likely because she is busy at training for her TV Tokyo announcer job) it will most likely be a great tour for all OG fans since we will be able to see most of OG performing H!P classics.

We don’t know what the setlist may contain but it will most likely have many solo songs from each one of the solo artists (Nakazawa, Iida, Abe, Yaguchi, and Fujimoto) as well as some group performances, which should be very interesting to see since we will get a chance to hear many great songs being performed by OG members.

For now we don’t know what to expect from the tour, but hopefully OG fans buy their tickets to enjoy this unique and impressing concert tour when it starts in April.

The concert will feature the following dates:

Official “Minna Happy! Mama no Uta” Site Opened

12 11 2010

A site for Tsuji Nozomi’s album titled Minna Happy! Mama no Uta has been opened.

For the most part the site is a great way to promote the album since it has many great images featuring Tsuji with kids as well as previews for all of the tracks in the album (including the original song Chibi Deviwru), and even though there isn’t much else it gives fans a chance to listen to a few previews before buying the album.

Each song has a short preview but it does give us a good idea what to expect, and overall they are great covers of the songs since they feature Tsuji singing many classic favorites (sometimes with a group of children), but for the most part since many of us have heard the songs there aren’t that many changes apart from the vocals.

The original song Chibi Devi w ru (not a spelling mistake) is somewhat different from the other songs since it has a harder and faster beat, which sounds pretty impressive, although for some reason it stands out from among the other songs on the album.

The previews are low quality but they give fans a listen to the songs, and they are all very impressive, so hopefully fans visit the site and listen to a few of the songs so that they reserve a copy of their album.

The release date is set for 11/24.

Tsuji Nozomi – “Minna Happy! Mama no Uta” Cover Released

6 11 2010

The cover for Tsuji Nozomi’s album titled Minna Happy! Mama no Uta has been released.

The cover features Tsuji in a white dress (and a bow, like always) surrounded by three girls and three boys in formal outfits, and since it is a cover album by Tsuji of many children songs I like the way it looks because it matches the theme of the album perfectly.

Apart from Tsuji and the six children there isn’t much on the cover apart from a pink heart in the middle with the title of the album and her name, as well as a white background which seems to have just a bit too much of a fade effect (which strangely only covers the boys in the picture), and despite it being a bit simple I like the way it matches the theme of the album.

Hopefully fans of Tsuji or the songs on the album decide to buy the album since it seems like it will be a great album full of great covers.

The release date is set for 11/24.

The tracklist for Tsuji Nozomi’s 1st solo album titled Minna Happy! Mama no Uta has been released.

The album will apparently feature 12 songs in total – 11 cover songs including songs from Sailor Moon, Anpanman, and Hyoukkori Hyoutan Jima (which Morning Musume has already covered) as well as one original song which has yet to be revealed.

Even though the album will mostly feature covers I am really excited about it since many of the songs are very interesting, for example Sailor Moon’s Moonlight Densetsu or Hyokkori Hyoutan Jima, and since they will be covered by Tsuji we can expect to hear a great album.

For now there isn’t much information about the 12th track which will be a new song, but we should hopefully get a preview sometime soon in November, if not then fans will have to pick up a copy of the album to find out for themselves what the new song sounds like.

Overall the tracklist is full of many children song favorites, and even though we don’t have a complete tracklist (#12) I look forward to hearing previews for the album as well as finding out what songs Noa and Tsuji will sing in together.

The release date is set for 11/24.
