Mano Erina’s 4th Major Single “Kono Mune no Tokimeki wo” Announced

31 07 2009

Mano Erina 1243

Mano Erina’s 4th single titled Kono Mune no Tokimeki wo has been announced. Like usual the release will have 4 versions – Regular, Limited A, B, and C – and it will include an event card for a Mano Premium live.

The lyrics are by Miura Noriko, composition by Hatakeyama Toshiaki, it’s arranged by Solaya and it will be released on the Pony Canyon label (Buono and Guardians 4 are on that label), this is the first single that is not composed by KAN.

From H!O: Hatakeyama Toshiaki is an ex-Sharan Q member who also composed Goto Maki’s “Yokohama Shinkirou” and “Blue Island”, as well as Viyuden’s “Koi no Nukegara”, and Heike Michiyo’s “GET”.

From the title (Google translation says “Kono Mune no Tokimeki wo” means “this beating chest”) it sounds a bit like a ballad, although it could just be an upbeat song.

Mano has been getting a lot of releases lately, this being her 4th single in a year (she has been releasing a single every 2 months since Otome no Inori in March, all of them major), so hopefully the publicity she has gotten will help her get good sales.

All info about Mano’s 4th single is gotten from that image, Play-Asia has it listed so it is somewhat confirmed, but I will update if some of the info changes.

The release date for the single is set for 9/30 and there is also a mention of the Single V’s release date (from Play-Asia) being 10/7.

EDIT: Single and date releases confirmed.

Kusumi Koharu Solo DVD Announced

31 07 2009

Kusumi Koharu 2342

A solo DVD has been announced for Kusumi Koharu, which probably means that we can expect to see a PB from her soon. According to a description from H!O: She went to Okinawa, did some cooking, some wake-boarding on the beach and of course there are the mandatory swimsuit shots.

She has had a pretty steady PB release schedule with one every year, (the PB that is soon to be announced will be her 4th solo PB), so it was kind of expected for this to happen.

I am somewhat excited for the release, even though her Kirarin voice sometimes gave me a headache I have to admit she’s cute and she sings well when she doesn’t stress her voice. We have already seen Koharu doing surfing, so wake-boarding will be somewhat similar, and the cooking segment will be interesting since I haven’t seen her cook that much.

The release date for the solo DVD is set for 9/30.

C-ute – EVERYDAY Zekkouchou! Single V Announced

31 07 2009

C-ute 3123

The Single V for C-ute’s 10th single titled EVERYDAY Zekkouchou has been announced. From previous Single V’s the tracklist will probably have the original PV, an alternate version of the PV, and the Making Of (not confirmed, only a guess).

I have no idea what the PV could look  like, but the title suggests it could be an upbeat and happy themed PV (roughly “EVERYDAY Zekkouchou” translates to “Everyday in perfect form”)

The release date for the Single V is 9/30.

Yorosen! Vol 1 & 2 DVD Announced

31 07 2009

Yorosen Logo 1231

Two DVDs featuring episodes from Yorosen have been announced. If you haven’t gotten a chance to see the episodes (and you know Japanese) it’s a good chance to catch up.

I have no idea how many episodes are in each volume but like the Berikyuu DVDs I expect to see more volumes released (for some reason they release two DVDs the same day).

The release date for the two DVDs is 9/30.

The DVD contents for Morning Musume’s 40th single Nanchatte Renai have been detailed by the official H!P page. As expected we are going to get a “Dance Shot” and the “Close-up Ver. BLACK” (the Close-up Ver WHITE is going to be included on the 5th Single M).

From those two PV versions I would have to say I am excited about the Close-up Ver BLACK, mainly because the Close-up versions are better at showing the facial expressions, and because the Dance shot version was shot in a somewhat akward place (at least for me).

The release date for Nanchatte Renai is 8/12.

5 releases today, Berryz Koubou’s DVD for their Spring concert tour 2009 ~Sono Subete no Ai ni~ and 4 versions of Mano Erina’s latest single “Sekai wa Summer Party”:

Berryz Koubou Spring 2009 Concert Tour ~Sono Subete no Ai ni~, Berryz Koubou’s latest concert DVD (debuted on Oricon at #1) with 30 tracks which include various MC’s and performances of their latest double A-side single “Seishun Bus Guide” and “Rival” and a special 100th concert performance of “Bye Bye Mata Ne” .

Dakishimete Dakishimete is the first performance, which is a great start to the concert since it got the crowd pumped up, and as the concert progresses it gets better and better. I haven’t seen it completely, but from the few performances (Dakishimete Dakishimete, Rival, Seishun Bus Guide) I have seen I can honestly say this is an incredible concert.

Overall recommended, the concert in itself is a must have for fans since they perform a lot of songs, and it is also a great way for those people who are starting to like Berryz Koubou to get to know some of their songs.

Mano Erina – Sekai wa Summer Party, Mano Erina’s 3rd major single which debuted on the Oricon on 6th position. The c/w is titled Jasmine Tea and it has a soft (almost disney-like) sound, which combined with Mano’s voice results in an incredible ballad.

The A-side, Sekai wa Summer Party (translated it means “The world’s summer party”), is an upbeat song which has a catchy rhythm and lyrics. S/mileage are the back dancer’s for the PV which features Mano packing for a trip around the world.

This single recieved a lot of promotion, including many appearances in notable shows and her own bus, UFA seriously pushed this single a lot, and hopefully it will pay off in the long run. Overall this single is recommended to Mano fans, and hopefully she can release more upbeat singles similar to this one.

Next release date is 8/5 with two Mano releases, her debut concert DVD and the Single-V for “Sekai wa Summer Party”.

Morning Musume – Aki Urara Preview Released

29 07 2009

Morning Musume 1241

A preview of Morning Musume’s c/w to Regular and Limited A & B versions titled Aki Urara has been released. The song is slightly slower than Nachatte Renai but it has a more R&B styled sound than most of their recent releases.

The preview is of cellphone quality so I can’t make out most of the voices, but for sure I hear Takahashi and Tanaka. I think I hear Niigaki, Kamei (I’m slightly sure that GakiKame sing, but I’m not entirely sure) and Michishige (it might be Takahashi singing in a low voice).

Since the preview for Aki Urara has been released, it’s only a matter of time until we get a preview for the 40th Commemorative Edition c/w “Subete wa Ai no Chikara”.

The release date for Morning Musume’s 40th single Nanchatte Renai is set for 8/12.

EDIT: Added higher quality preview

The full tracklist for Morning Musume’s 5th PV collection titled Eizou The Morning Musume 5 ~Single M Clips~ has been released on the official H!P website.

Every PV from Resonant Blue onward is included in the collection (a total of 5 PVs), and a surprising addition is that they are including the UFA-made 3,2,1 BREAKIN’ OUT PV as well, along with 5 alternate version of the original PVs on the second disc.

Since there will be no Single V release for Nanchatte Renai this PV collection includes the Nanchatte Renai and 3,2,1 BREAKIN’ OUT Making Of’s, and the winning Myspace OPV is included in the last disc on the last track (somewhat like they added it in at the last moment) and renamed 3,2,1 BREAKIN’ OUT Animation Mix.

Overall a pretty decent collection although I would have preferred to see the “Another Ver.” for Resonant Blue included instead of the “Night Scene Ver.”, and the “Dance Shot Ver.” of Shouganai Yume Oibito instead of the “Drama Ver.”, but I am still pretty satisfied with the setlist.

The release date is set for 8/19.

EDIT: Bigger Cover Added

The full tracklist for Guardians 4’s 2nd single titled School Days has been released. The c/w’s title is “Itsuka Doko ka de” (according to Google it translates to “Someday Somewhere”) which possibly means it’s a ballad or a slow song.

Like the last single Shugo Chara Egg will have a cover of “School Days” included as a track along with the original “School Days” and “Itsuka Doko ka de” and the instrumentals.

The release date is set for 9/2.

Ice Creamusume To Perform In Hello! Project ~Hello! Chanpuru~ Concert Tour

28 07 2009

Ice Creamusume 2334

It has been announced through the official H!P website that Ice Creamusume will perform on the Hello! Project 2009 Summer Concert Tour ~Hello! Chanpuru~ on the Nakano and Osaka Dates (8/1 to 8/9, the rest of the schedule).

It’s great to see them finally get some exposure and be included in a Hello! Project concert tour since they are technically part of Hello! Project.

Dohhh-UP also released two of their PV’s (“Renai Revolution 21” and “Ame no Furanai Hoshi de wa Aisenai Darou?”) along with the news of Ice Creamusume participating.

Ice Creamusume – Renai Revolution 21 PV On Dohhh-UP

– Great PV with a somewhat loose storyline (they go to an ice cream factory and get ice cream from a panda ice cream stand). The PV only has green screen but it looks impressing, and we get to see each members personality.

Ice Creamusume – Ame no Furanai Hoshi de wa Aisenai Darou On Dohhh-UP

– A full outdoor PV with many solo lines and a chance to be on camera for everyone. I was impressed by this PV because they managed to make a PV with a loose storyline on an outside setting without excessive close-up shots or dance shots.

Hopefully we can find out what song they are going to perform on those days, but most likely we will have to wait and see on 8/1. Best of luck to Ice Creamusume!
