8 releases today, Kusumi Koharu’s solo DVD for her PB, C-ute’s single V for their latest single, 2 Yorosen DVD’s and Mano Erina’s 4th single:

Kusumi Koharu – Jump!!, last solo DVD for Kusumi Koharu as a member of Morning Musume and H!P. I haven’t seen the DVD completely but from the previews I can tell that it is a great DVD for fans.

It was kind of sad to see the previews since we know that Koha is graduating this December, but at least it’s great to see her be herself while shooting the PB.

Not much else I can say since I haven’t seen it completely but I would definitely recommend it to fans since it is her last solo DVD release.

C-ute – EVERYDAY Zekkouchou! (Single V), the Single V for C-ute’s 10th single “EVERYDAY Zekkouchou”. This Single V contains the normal PV, the Close-Up version and the Making Of.

The normal PV is shoot on the roof of a building where C-ute dance in a black platform. For the most part the Dance shot is the PV, although there are many group and solo Close-Up shots which look great. The Close-Up and Making Of I haven’t seen so I can’t comment on those.

Overall I would recommend it to C-ute fans, and I would slightly recommend it to casual fans because of the catchy intro.

Yorosen Vol 1 & 2, DVD collection of the episodes of Yorosen. I have no idea how many episodes are in each DVD, but what I do know is that I would recommend it to all H!P fans who haven’t seen the episodes since they are really entertaining.

Mano Erina – Kono Mune no Tokimeki wo, Mano Erina’s 4th major single which debuted at 6th on the Oricon charts. The A-side is “Kono Mune no Tokimeki wo”, and the B-side is “Happy Birthday Mama”.

The A-side is a return to Mano’s roots singing ballads while playing piano. The song is somewhat slow, but the PV does have S/mileage as background dancers and chorus singers which helps a bit. The rhythm is somewhat catchy but overall I wouldn’t say it is one of her best songs.

The B-side, “Happy Birthday Mama” is upbeat and happy, and it has a really catchy chorus. The only problem is the excess of sound effects, since they seem to have added them randomly and at the same noise level as the main song which really distracts from Mano.

There were some small problems but overall I really liked how the single came out. It’s not the most memorable of all of her singles but when she sings a ballad it really sounds great especially with her soft voice, that is why I would definitely recommend it to Mano fans and fans of ballads.

Next release date is 10/3 with Morning Musume’s 2010 calendar.

The C-ute Best Vol 1 has been renamed C-ute Nan Desu! Zen Single Atsumechaimashita! 1 according to Neowing. The setlist on Neowing is the same as the one released on 9/5, so the song versions will apparently be the same.

I’m glad to see that they have confirmed the album, mostly because this is C-ute’s first best of album.

I’m also kind of glad they kept the setlist with the normal songs, mostly because it’s a great way for fans to hear the songs with the original singers, but it would have been nice to hear new versions as well.

The release date is set for 11/18.

Berryz Koubou – “Ryuusei Boy” Preview Released

30 09 2009

Berryz Koubou 1052

A preview of Ryuusei Boy, which is one of the A-side’s to Berryz Koubou’s 21st single Watashi no Danna-Sama / Ryuusei Boy has been released.

The song is arranged by DANCE MAN (the same guy who arranged many of H!P’s famous songs such as Renai Revolution 21 and Dschinghis Khan), so you can really tell he did a good job.

I really like how the overall song sounds (the Tsunku grunt at 0:26 might be a little scary but I can get used to it). It has a really catchy rhythm and an upbeat beginning, I definitely can’t wait to see the PV for this song.

The single is set for release on 11/11.

The European release dates for HANGRY & ANGRY’s album titled Sadistic Dance have been released on HANGRY & ANGRY’s Myspace.

I’m actually surprised that they are going to release the album early in some places, but I’m glad to see that they know there are fans outside of Japan and the US.

The release date for France is a surprise though, since HANGRY & ANGRY are set to appear from 10/30 to 11/1 at the Chibi Japan Expo in Paris but the release date isn’t until 11/04, but hopefully they get a chance to get a copy to take to the expo and get signed.

This means that we should be getting previews of the new songs earlier than expected.

The release date for the Japanese release is 11/11.

The official tracklist for Morning Musume’s coupling collection album titled Morning Musume All Single Coupling Collection has been released. The album will feature 3 discs with all of the c/w’s from “Morning Coffee” to “Nanchatte Renai”, and the limited edition will feature a mini-PB.

The tracklist is basically all of the c/w’s in order of release, so there isn’t that much of a surprise. If you don’t have the singles, but you do have the “All Singles Complete” album, then this is a great chance to complete your collection.

But if you own most of the singles then the only thing I see that would make it worthy of buying is the mini-PB in the limited edition.

The release date is set for 10/7.

Morning Musume – “Kimagure Princess” Tracklist Released

29 09 2009

Morning Musume Kimagure Princess 1523

01.気まぐれプリンセス (Kimagure Princess)
02.愛して 愛して 後一分 (Aishite Aishite Ato Ippun)
03.気まぐれプリンセス(Instrumental) (Kimagure Princess – Instrumental)

The official tracklist for Morning Musume’s 41st single titled Kimagure Princess has been released. The tracklist was released some time ago on Neowing, but now it is officially confirmed.

I have high hopes for this single, mostly because of the familiar upbeat sound, so I hope the c/w sounds as great as the A-side.

We should probably get a preview of the c/w soon since the girls will probably be promoting the new single in some weeks.

The release date is set for 10/28.

Berryz Koubou – Watashi no Mirai no Danna-Sama/Ryuusei Boy Tracklist Released

29 09 2009

Berryz Koubou Ryuusei Boy Event 1512

01.私の未来のだんな様 (Watashi no Mirai no Danna-Sama)
02.流星ボーイ (Ryuusei Boy)
03.私の未来のだんな様(Instrumental) (Watashi no Mirai no Danna-Sama – Instrumental)
04.流星ボーイ(Instrumental) (Ryuusei Boy – Instrumental)

The official tracklist for Berryz Koubou’s 21st single titled Watashi no Mirai no Danna-Sama/ Ryuusei Boy has been released on the official H!P site. This tracklist confirms the double A-side since both of the songs have instrumentals and the official site lists both songs in the title of the single.

I’m surprised to see that they made “Watashi no Mirai no Danna-Sama” the first song, even though both songs are A-sides the first song tends to be promoted a bit more (example: Seishun Bus Guide/Rival) although it may not be the case with this single.

The tracklist is not that surprising, both titles have already been released and since it’s a double A-side the other tracks were normally going to be instrumentals. But hopefully we can get previews of the songs soon to see how they sound.

The release date is set for 11/11.
