“Taishou Roman Haikara Tantei Aoi Ruby Satsujinjiken”, the stage play featuring Tanaka Reina, Sudou Maasa, Shimisu Saki will be airing on Ustream.
The play will be streaming on the Ustream website however it is only available if you pay for it. It doesn’t say weather it is live or pre-recorded but by streaming it on the internet it let’s fans worldwide take a look at the play instead of waiting until the DVD comes out.
I’m also not too surprised by the announcement because they streamed C-ute concert on youtube and they did something similar to Morning Musume’s fall concert last year. Also the stage play featuring C-ute and Berryz Koubou will be using the ustream pay per view method so it might seem like UFA is trying to reach a out to fans worldwide with their streaming methods.
Hopefully all fans are available to check it out.

Tanaka Reina, Shimizu Saki and Sudou Maasa’s stage play titled ““Taishou Roman Haikara Tantei Aoi Ruby Satsujinjiken”has been announced on DVD.
I’m glad that they announced a dvd release for this because it will let fans see the play for themselves if they didn’t get a chance to attend. I’m also glad that it’s being released on dvd because some backstage footage will probably be included and I’m curious about the interaction with Reina, Captain and Maasa since it’s an unusual mix and the only time we see them together is probably during H!P concerts.
Hopefully everyone who didn’t get a chance to see the play live will purchase a copy and support our H!P members.

This stage play features Tanaka Reina, Sudou Maasa and Shimizu Saki and so far on the blog Reina has made a post. Unfortunately I don’t have the translation but seeing as it’s the first blog post she probably writes an introduction about herself to the fans and how practice is going and all.
I’m hoping because this is a blog for the stage play other actors will be able to blog too, specifically Captain and Maasa. I do hope that they get a chance to blog about the play since they seem like important characters judging by the size of their pictures in the blog photo. We’ll just have to wait and see.
Tanaka Reina announced on her blog that she will be starring in her first solo stage play titled “Taishou Roman Haikara Tantei Aoi Ruby Satsujinjiken.”
The title of the play translates to “Taisho Romance of the Stylish Detective King Blue Ruby Murder Case.” It seems that the play will revolve around some mystery and murder. I’m a fan of this genre so I’m kind of excited to see the what the play is about. Also I’m not sure if Reina will be acting in the lead role but in most plays Reina has been featured in she always took on a secondary role and if she is the lead I’m excited to see what her acting is like.
H!P announced later that Sudou Maasa and Shizumi Saki are also participating in the play. I’m unsure what parts they are playing but I’m also excited to see how this turns out.
Hopefully all fans attend to support Reina, Saki and Maasa and I wish the best of luck to all three girls.

The official site for the movie Light Novel no Tanoshii Kakikata featuring Sudou Maasa and Noto Arisa has been updated.
It was somewhat expected that we would see a new version of the site open after the trailer was released, but I was a bit surprised that they renewed the entire site by updating every page, including adding the trailer in a separate page, as well as a link to the official movie blog.
For the most part everything looks great, although one of the main highlights is the blog since it features some scenes from the actual filming of the movie. Here is the header for it:
As you can tell it’s only the image from the main site as well as some small circles featuring scenes from the movie, which isn’t much but since it will most likely be a temporary blog (until the movie is released) it was expected that they wouldn’t try that hard to make it stand out.
Apart from the blog, trailer, and new site renewal we also get some new profile pictures:
For the most part they seem pretty basic but I do like how Maasa looks in her school uniform as well as Nocchi’s somewhat unique pose, and even though it doesn’t really show us more images from the actual movie it does give us a chance to see them acting like themselves in different settings.
Overall the site looks even better than before with many images from the movie as well as updated profile images, the trailer for the movie, a link to the movie’s blog, as well as many other interesting sections about the movie.
Hopefully we get to see another trailer or more behind the scenes images soon since the movie looks great so far.

A trailer for a movie titled Light Novel no Tanoshii Kakikata which features Sudou Maasa and Noto Arisa has been released.
So that everyone understands the trailer a bit more I decided to post the basic storyline of the movie that was released a while ago:
The story centers on Yakumo Atae, a first-year student who knows the hidden secret of his fearsome classmate Tsurugi Yabusame — while she is the school’s strongest girl, she is also a budding light novel author under the penname Mio Himemiya. Tsurugi is stuck in a huge slump while writing her new romantic comedy. Yakumo’s cousin Kokona Atae happens to be Tsurugi’s editor, and Kokona suggests that Yakumo and Tsurugi become a couple so that Tsurugi can know the experience of romance.
As you will most likely tell Maasa does play her “strongest girl” movie role perfectly since she has a very noticeable lower voice tone as well as a more rough character, and while the trailer is somewhat short I am convinced that Maasa did a great job acting for this movie.
Noto appears quite a few times throughout the trailer as well which is great since it means that we will see her many times throughout the movie, and while I didn’t really get to see her act that much because she usually just stood on the side I am glad that she at least stood out in one of the scenes (when she slaps the guy near the end).
Overall the movie trailer was incredible since it summarizes the movie plot while not giving away the ending, which somewhat leaves me with the desire to find out more about the movie. The great acting from Maasa, Noto and the entire cast was very impressing in the few minutes that were shown from the trailer so I really look forward to finding out more about this movie.
According to the description of the movie on the trailer it seems that the movie will be released in early December of this year at the Ikebukuro theater with sequential releases after that, so hopefully we soon get a chance to see some fan impressions of the movie as well as reviews from critics.
The release date is set for 12/4.

Sudou Maasa’s movie titled Light Novel no Tanoshii Kakikata will debut in theaters in December of this year.
Even though we haven’t gotten a more specific date it is still great to hear more about Maasa’s movie, and now that we finally have a closer estimate to the debut of the film we can begin to wonder how the full movie will look.
Maasa will have the spotlight of the film as one of the leads which almost guarantees that she will get to appear during most of the movie and with Nocchi as part of the cast we can expect a great movie from both of them.
Hopefully more details are released along with a few previews of what to expect since this will definitely be a great movie for everyone to watch.
The release date for the movie is set for sometime in December of 2010.

According to Google Tsukiji is the name of a fish market (specifically the biggest fish market in the world), so I have no idea what they will do there but a fish market with 9 H!P members will most likely be very interesting to see if it doesn’t involve interviews.
From what I could make from the Google translation the theme of the show seems to be: “idols boast their beauty, but to compete in the entertainment industry they have to learn other qualities to make them more attractive” (please correct me if I am wrong), so the theme of the show will probably be of them learning something, like the mention of the tutoring at the Tsukiji market, although it hasn’t been confirmed.
The time slot apparently hasn’t changed which is somewhat disheartening but hopefully this program does well so that they get a chance at a better time slot.
So far I’m glad that they decided to change the show theme from interviewing famous people to actually doing something interesting (no offense to anyone who liked Bijo Houdan), although we will have to wait and see how the show turns out.
The first episode will air on 4/1 at 1:00~1:30 (JST).
Sudou Maasa and Sugaya Risako also have the flu, this after the official announcement that Miyabi and Momo were sick also. As a result the Berryz Koubou concert on 10/17 is canceled and will seemingly be rescheduled for 12/30.
The concert being canceled was somewhat expected since 4 members will be missing (especially 3 of the key members), but at least I am glad they rescheduled it instead of just canceling. The flu virus really seems to be spreading rapidly, so hopefully the girls get well soon and rest to be ready for the promotion of the new single (and hopefully Captain, Chii and Kuma don’t get sick also).
