Dream Morning Musume Concert Tour 2011 Spring PB Cover Released

23 07 2011

The cover for the PB release of Dream Morning Musume’s Concert Tour 2011 Haru no Mai ~Sotsugyousei DE Saikessei~ has been released.

I was a bit surprised to see that the cover for the PB release is a bit similar to the one Momusu will have since apart from the info and the color of the bottom bar they have the exact same layout (most likely because BLT seems to overuse the layout with all of it’s releases): black bar at the top, the color of the letters are the same as the Momusu PB, a bar on the bottom with info about the content, as well as a vertical picture of the concert, but despite that it’s still a great cover.

We get to see all 10 members of Dream Morning Musume posing and singing while in concert, and while the picture could have been a bit better I was impressed with the energy coming from some of the members, mainly Rika, Koha, Yuko, as well as Yaguchi, and while we haven’t seen any previews it seems like this PB will be amazing since the bottom right picture does a good job of showing of the intensity of the event.

We should get previews sometime soon, or if not then there will most likely be a few around the beginning of August, but hopefully fans reserve their copy of the PB since it’s the perfect way to enjoy the concert fully.

The release date is set for 8/3.

Dream Morning Musume Invited To Perform At FNS “Uta no Summer Matsuri 2011”

22 07 2011

Dream Morning Musume are among the list of those invited to perform at FNS Uta no Summer Matsuri 2011.

Other artists scheduled for that event are Kara, AKB48, SPEED, SMAP, and miya, as well as many others for a total of 50 artists/groups.

Dream Morning Musume has had quite a lot of promotion lately (for example they will be at the 43rd Omoide no Melody event on 8/13 as well), and I’m glad to see that they have another performance planned since it gives fans a chance to enjoy another performance of this talented group, and with a large group of other equally talented groups this seems like a very interesting event for fans to attend.

Most fans might be wondering why Morning Musume aren’t scheduled to perform and Dream Morning Musume is and there’s a simple answer for that: Momusu have two concert performances that day for H!P’s summer tour, which makes some sense since performing at this event wouldn’t leave them time to prepare and attend their concert (although there might be other reasons).

Despite that I hope fans attend the event to enjoy performances by Dream Morning Musume, although it seems that there are quite a lot of other groups appearing and they might only perform once.

Hopefully fans can go to support Dream Morning Musume.

The FNS Uta no Summer Matsuri event will be on 8/6.

Dream Morning Musume- “Haru no Mai ~Sotsugyousei DE Saikessei~” Photo Book Announced

15 07 2011

Koharu mentioned on her blog that Dream Morning Musume will be releasing a photo book titled  “Haru no Mai ~Sotsugyousei DE Saikessei~”.

Most of the groups are releasing a photo book with their concert so I’m not too surprised for about this announcement. I am excited though because this photo book is released before the DVD is released. So we can get a preview of what the outfits were like and if they include photos of the performance we can somewhat imagine what the concert was like. I’m also hoping they include some group photos of each generation since it’s been awhile that we’ve seen 1st gen. If they do include that this will probably be a rare chance to see them together since they’re all busy with their own activities.

Hopefully all fans can reserve a copy.

The release is set for 8/3.

Dream Morning Musume- Guests on Hey! Hey! Hey!

26 06 2011

Nakazawa Yuko mentioned on her blog that Dream Morning Musume will be on the show Hey! Hey! Hey!

Nakazawa didn’t mention if all the members were going to appear or if only a few of them would but I hope that it is everyone will be on the show since it’d be interesting to see the talk segment of everyone together.

Nakazawa also didn’t mention if they were performing on the show but if they do they’re most likely to perform a medley of Morning Musume classics (Renai Revolution, Love Machine etc.)

This will most likely be an interesting show so I highly recommend everyone to try and see it.

They will be featured on guests on 7/25.

“Dream Morning Musume Concert Tour 2011 Haru no Mai ~Sotsugyousei DE Saikessei~” DVD and Blu-ray Announced

25 06 2011

Dream Morning Musume’s 1st concert titled “Dream Morning Musume Concert Tour 2011 Haru no Mai ~Sotsugyousei DE Saikessei~” has been announced on DVD and Blu-ray.

It’s no surprise that a dvd was announced for this since all concerts are released on dvd. Even though many of the songs performed at this concert were cover songs of Morning Musume I’m excited to see how they performed it, like Shabadoma for example. Nakazawa wasn’t a part of the group when that song was released and I’m curious how she’ll be included in that song also the line distribution will be interesting.

Also I wanted to mention that the Blu-ray and regular DVD are being released on the same day. Most of the time the regular DVD is released first and the Blu-ray follows afterwards. I hope that since both of them are released on the same day as each won’t be a problem and I hope that everyone reserves a copy to support Dream Morning Musume.

The release date is set for 9/14.

The tracklist for Dream Morning Musume’s 1st tour titled Concert Tour 2011 Haru no Mai ~Sotsugyousei DE Saikessei~ has been released.

I was surprised to see that they performed songs that weren’t included in their album, such as Shabondama and even a medley of many OG fan favorites featuring four songs from earlier generations, and while I would have liked to see them perform newer songs I am happy to see that they got a chance to sing many great songs from earlier generations.

There were a few songs that they didn’t include such as Sexy Boy ~Soyokaze ni Yorisotte~, Ame no Furanai Hoshi de wa Aisenai Darou?, Memory Seishun no Hikari and Afternoon Coffee, which might be somewhat disappointing to some, although it’s great to see that they added a bit of variety by changing them to performances of other Momusu songs since fans enjoyed a great concert.

From the setlist you can see that there are many great songs, but I look forward to seeing the performance for Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari the most since it’s one of the few songs that features updated lyrics, although for the most part the entire setlist is amazing since hearing the original voices for most of Momusu’s classic songs will most likely be a great thing for many fans.

Hopefully fans in Japan can check out the next performances and go to the concert since it looks like this will be a great tour.

Dream Morning Musume Official Website Opened

11 04 2011

An official website for Dream Morning Musume has been opened.

I have to say that I’m more than happy to see that they are getting their own official website since this makes it easier to catch up with their news and it helps every fan around the world to get closer to them while following their updates and checking in regularly.

The design of the site is one of the most impressive I’ve seen since it is from the colors of their current album outfits which are essentially black and gold, and I have to say that I love the design with all of the jewels as borders and the elegant gold they used which brings out the group’s image and its mature side.

The website is divided into 3 categories on the main page for a quick look through the recent news, members blogs and videos,  and their are 6 sections in the site which are: profile (a list of all the members with pictures and info), concert (featuring the upcoming concert dates), media (for shows and appearances), release (where their album is featured with the tracklist and covers), news and YouTube for their live videos.

Also, the interesting touch is the banner, where we get to see an animation where all of the members get to appear one after the other with their name (I can’t assume that but it seems that they appear from first graduate to last -from Yuko to Koharu-), followed by a group picture against a stage looking background which looks great with the overall theme.

Overall, I’m really happy to see that their official website has been opened and hopefully that will help their fans stay updated with their news.

Dream Morning Musume – “Dorimusu 1” Bigger Covers Released

9 04 2011

Left: Regular, Right: Limited

Bigger covers for Dream Morning Musume’s first album titled Dorimusu 1 (Eng: Dreams 1) have been released.

I’m glad to see that bigger covers have been released since the release date is coming up pretty soon, and while we haven’t heard all of the songs on the album the covers should be a great way for fans who have already decided to buy the album but not which edition to choose their favorite, and while there were a few details I didn’t like I really liked how the covers looked overall since they each feature a great theme.

The Regular cover is a simple group picture which features Koha, Yasuda, Yuko, Iida, and Makoto on the top row and Miki, Yaguchi, Abe, Rika, and Yossie on the bottom row, and while it might be a bit too simple I really liked the way it looks since it is a great theme to show of all of the members without distracting that much (although the costumes are a bit too sparkly).

The Limited edition is most likely the one that most fans will buy since it features a pretty unique theme of Polaroid pictures where each member is holding a single which is part of the album (I’m not sure if it’s tracks from the album or their favorite single), and while it seems that they just chose at random I am glad that they added that detail since fans can remember how the covers for the singles looked like since each member is holding up a copy.

One thing that stood out for me was how the smiling faces on the Regular cover contrast with the looks of each member on the Limited cover since Makoto, Miki, Abe, Yossie, Yaguchi, and Yuko seem to be a bit bored (Miki especially since she looks like she doesn’t want to be there) and while they could have been as happy as in the group picture for the Regular cover I am glad to see that the Limited edition features that unique Polaroid theme.

Hopefully fans who haven’t chosen there favorite have already done so since the covers are both pretty unique and interesting: the regular features a simple but amazing group shot while the Limited edition features a unique and fun Polaroid theme with each member holding up a single, and while I prefer the Limited I have to admit that they are both great covers.

The release date is set for 4/20.
