H!P 2011 Summer Concert Schedules & Announcers Released

8 06 2011

The H!P 2011 summer concert schedules and announcers has been released.

On the 6/8 Ustreamusume the members randomly drew names to determine which members would be doing the announcements at the venues and they also randomly determined which setlists (WOW WOW or YEAH YEAH) would be featured at each venue.

I believe the announcer position is what Yossie/Makoto was doing in the past, which is just to announce the next group/song and sort of host the event. I like that they decided to go with a random drawing for that position since it’s something new for us and since it changes every concert there’s almost a new member every time. Some members appear multiple times and it’s shame that not everyone can participate but it was done randomly so everything was based on luck.

Thanks to telepudding at H!O an easy to read table was created which displays the members and setlists at each venue. Hopefully this will help anyone who is planning on attending the concert and help plan accordingly.

*The last Nakano Sun setlist was originally YEAH YEAH however Ai-chan had it changed so it balances the setlists out. Each one is featured 9 times. (Thanks to JPCY koregaboku4)

Also included is a clip of the random drawing. It’s uploaded on Youtube so please watch it before it’s taken down. Please enjoy!

Ogawa Makoto Casted In Stage Play Titled “Black Camellia ~ Japanese Vampire~”

8 06 2011

According to her blog, Mako has been casted in the stage play titled “Black Camellia ~ Japanese Vampire~”

As you can tell by the title, the stage play is a vampire theme. A lot of you may wonder why so many of H!P members are doing works related to vampires. According to Sohee on JPCY, vampires are the “new thing” so we shouldn’t be too surprised that it’s another vampire theme.

Regardless of that though the summary of the show says it’s a “beautiful vampire fight in magnificent dance.” I’m assuming that means it’s a musical stage play and if that’s true I’m glad for Mako since her last musical stage play was awhile ago.

Also it hasn’t been revealed about what part Mako was casted in but I’m hoping she was casted as a main character, or at least she has an important role in the play.

Tickets are available for purchase through the Morning Musume Fan Club. Hopefully everyone can purchase a ticket in advance and support Mako.

The play will run from 7/16-7/24.

Morning Musume Updated Profile Pictures for “Only You” Released

8 06 2011

The official H!P page has just updated the profile pictures for Morning Musume’s 46th single titled Only You.

It has been quite some time since we get the main group picture for their 46th single so I’m surprised to see that a week before the single will be released we finally get to see the individual pictures, despite already having seeing them many times in promotion I am glad that we finally get them since we can check each member’s outfit out.

For the most part there are not that many differences in outfit, in fact the only difference seems to be the hair and the shorts the 9th generation is using, but I was impressed with the outfits since the silver and white skirts with white boots definitely matched the sound of the single, and along with the shorts that the 9th generation wore it gave them a somewhat more youthful appearance although it still fit the theme well.

As most of us probably know Ai-chan has been trying out different hair colors for the past few months and it was very surprising to see that she changed it to blond (most likely for her stage play), but despite that I have to admit that she looks amazing since the skirt, transparent white sleeves, and the metal necklace and hair accessory combine to make an elegant but mature look.

Gaki has a more mature look compared to the last single mostly due to her hairstyle which looks really good, and along with the same accessories that Aichan has (which all members have) I am amazed at how beautiful she looks, since her dark hair and more mature expressions in both the pictures above and the PV really made her stand out.

Like most of the other members Sayu also had a new hairstyle that really looked good on her, and along with the hair accessory on her right side she looked gorgeous, and despite not having any solo lines in the single (like most of the releases) she did get many appearances and had a chance to show off her beauty.

Reina looks amazing as always although she was among the few members that didn’t have that much of a hairstyle change, but apart from that I really liked how she looks since the outfit matches her personality perfectly and along with her many appearances in the PV we got a chance to see just how great she looks as well as her many expressions.

I’m usually not a fan of Mitsui with her hair pulled back but I have to admit that she looks amazing here since the style came out really good, and along with her cute expressions and many appearances in the PV (not that many lines though) she did stand out a lot more for me since her outfit and more mature personality really shined.

Mizuki is among the few members who had a really different hairstyle for this single, and while the shorts seem a bit too boyish compared to the skirts she still looks really pretty since her expressions and her natural calm style really matched up with the song well, and while she didn’t have that many lines she did appear quite a few times and shined everytime she did.

Erina seemed a bit too nervous when she first joined the group but it’s only her 2nd single and she already seems perfectly comfortable as we can see in her pictures and her appearances in the PV, and while I would have liked to hear how her singing is coming along I was impressed with her appearances in the PV since she did a pretty good job of following the mood of the song.

As expected Riho’s natural talent and calm personality shined throughout her many solo words in the song, but apart from that she didn’t have that much of a different hairstyle although I’m glad she didn’t since her current style really fit in perfectly with the song, although I hope we get to see her and the rest of the 9th generation with skirts next time since they would have looked and fit the theme of the song more.

I didn’t like the hairstyle she had for this single that much since it seemed to not fit that well with her personality, but I have to admit that it did fit with the theme of the song well, and even though she didn’t appear as much as I would have liked in the PV I am glad that the outfit looked pretty good on her since she did an amazing job of changing her mood to fit the song.

Overall the outfits are perfect for the single since they fit the calm but strong ballad sound and while many members had a different hairstyle (or hair color) I was impressed with how great everyone looks since their different personalities seemed to change to match the outfit they wore and the song they sang, but I hope we get to see everyone with an outfit that matches their personality next time since the shorts looked good on some 9th gen members but not all.

Hopefully everyone has their copy of the single reserved since this single has the potential to be among the top 3 due to it’s catchy mature but cool ballad sound, although it is without a doubt an amazing release.

The release date is set for 6/15.

Mano Erina – “My Days For You” HQ Covers Released

8 06 2011

From left to right

Top: Regular, Limited A

Bottom: Limited B, Single V

HQ covers for Mano Erina’s 10th single titled My Days For You have been released.

With those bigger covers, we finally get to see closer details of Mano’s outfits, poses and facial expression, and I have to say that I definitely think those are amongst the best covers Mano had recently since they all feature a calm theme with different executions in each one.

The regular edition cover features Mano smiling cheerfully at the camera wearing a white blouse and matching white headband, and the background seems to be a field with some sort of fence which is all blurry, and I find it great since it puts Mano in the spotlight even more.

The Limited A cover is amongst the most interesting since it features a collage of 3 different pictures of Mano wearing a simple (pyjamas) top with her hair tied in a loose ponytail, and she seems to be drinking a juice box in the biggest  picture while looking outside, and the other 2 smaller pictures shows us Mano smiling cutely while looking down and looking next to the camera’s angle with the straw near her mouth.

The Limited B edition shows us Mano in the sexiest pose of them all, looking kind of softly at the camera with the wind blowing in her hair while wearing a white shirt and cardigan, and even though the setting she’s in is unclear, I really like how nice the cover looks overall with the white theme and her expression.

The Single V’s cover was out too in HQ and we get to see Mano in a blue dress with blue dominating the cover, posing next to an open window with what seems to be a bed with cussions in the background, and she is looking away liek she does in the LA cover, but it seems that it fits this cover best since her pose and expression overall match perfectly to create a smooth atmosphere and setting.

Overall, I’m really impressed with the clear and white theme the covers have and even though they seem to feature less “smiling” Mano Eri, they still look amazing and fit the song perfectly.

The release date is set for 6/29 and the Single V release is set for 7/6.

Kitahara Sayaka Official Ameba Blog Opened

8 06 2011

An official Ameba blog for Kitahara Sayaka has been opened.

With the recent release of the full PV of her upcoming single, I’m really happy to see that she is opening her official blog just before the release date of her first single since it will give her an opportunity to promote herself and her single, as well as getting more popular across the web.

Her first post “Hajimemashite” (Nice to Meet you) is the only one so far, but she seems to become an acrtive blogger since her post is full of emoticons and has a nice distribution in lines which should make it enjoyable for fans to read and go through.

The banner of her blog is very attractive also since it is pink with the title “Kimama ni 365 Days” with many bubbles and different effects where we get to see 2 photos of her in the single’s outfit, and even though she hasn’t posted many things yet, I’m glad to see that she started with uploading a non-official picture of herself and mentionning her single.

Hopefully we’ll see her more active in the next weeks to come.
