Buono! – “partenza~Lets Go!!!~” Preview Released

20 07 2011

A preview for the theme song of Buono!’s upcoming mini-album titled partenza~Lets Go!!!~ has been released.

The preview is taken from a radio show so it’s not the full song, but still it’s in good quality and you can get the theme of the song, and I have to say that I was very surprised with what I heard since it’s something absolutely not done before by other groups within H!P and many fans have different opinions about this.

The song is really hard to describe since it’s not rock neither pop. It starts off with the girls saying repeatedly “B.u.o.n.o let’s go!“, and this line keeps on being sung in the background while the girls start off singing lines mixed with electronic vibes which gives an electro and rap feel to the song.

The instrumental all along is something very similar to the robotic and metallic sounds we hear in rap and electro songs, which isn’t really disturbing when you get used to it since the lines that the girls sing aren’t too off-beat and actually fit well with the rythm.

Even though many might find this a bit disturbing since it’s something new and that might not fit the image we have of Buono!, I personally think that the girls pulled off this style perfectly since they were able to sing along the heavy rythm, and they also were able to add their special touch with the many let’s go during the song, making even the casual “rapping” sound like Buono! in some kind of way.

I highly recommend everyone to listen to it carefully many times and ignore the beginning since it’s quite disturbing before making an opinion about the song, and please support Buono! by reserving a copy since this mini-album seems to be full of surprises.

Overall, I personally really like this song and the whole original sound it got, so watch it since the video might be taken down soon.

The release date is set for 8/10.

New Berryz Koubou Profile Pictures For “Aa, Yoru ga Akeru!”

20 07 2011

Berryz Koubou’s official profile page has been updated with new profile pictures for their 27th single titled Aa, Yoru ga Akeru.

The outfits for this single are really cute and fresh which doesn’t seem to match with the preview of the song that we got to hear some time ago, but even though it might be the case, I still like how they all look since if we judge the outfits by themselves, they really are fresh and summery, and I always like it when they give each member a difference in their outfits (weither it’s the color or the design) since it still looks similar for everyone but with some special touches.

Captain is wearing a very sweet and simple soft pink dress that is tightened on her chest to make her little figure pop out, and she has a very cute ribbon in her hair, and even though she doesn’t have the most unique or beautiful outfit, she still shines thanks to her hair color and the simplicity she brings to the outfit.

Momo looks as cute as always, specially wearing pink, but weirdly enough, I had expected her to have the most pink outfit of them all and the girlyish, but instead she gets a soft pink top and shorts with her hair slightly lifted up with a silver bandana matching her heals, and I have to say that I really like how she looks.

Chii is the only member along with Miya and Risako that caught my attention since we were never used to seeing her that cute and sensitive before, and she has a very bright pink outfit which is a ruffled dress, and along with her hair that is cutely curled and her birhg tpink hair accessory, she really stands out amongst the others and catched my attention.

Maasa as usual is one of the most beautiful Berryz in pictures since her natural looks with soft make-up and her long black hair match her soft and bright pink outfit perfectly, and I think that they picked the right dress for her since it suits her perfectly. The bandana in her hair looks really soft and I like what it adds to the overall look.

Miya looks definitely like a little doll in her outfit since her brighter hair color and the hairstyle that she matched to it just look amazing with her pink outfit that has bright touches all over it, and her hair accessory only add to the sensitivity and cuteness that this look gives her, and for once I’m really glad that she did a big change to her style since this time it suits her outfit perfectly.

Many might have noticed Yurina’s new haircut which is really shot compared to the lenght of her hair before, but in my opinion I think it gives her a very soft and cuter look since she has a very simple light pink dress that puts her silhouette in advance and I really like her pose in the full-body shot since she looks extremely cute and soft.

Risako also dyed her hair to brown recently but it’s nice to see that she kept her unique hairstyle with a straight fringe, and along with Chii and Miya she really catched my eye thanks to the change and to her very cute outfit made of a long top and puffed shorts, and I have to say that I particularly like her expression in the close-up shot.

Overall, I really am astonished by how beautiful the girls all look, specially by Chinami, Miyabi and Risako as I mentionned above, so hopefully fans will enjoy seeing the profile pictures and get a little bit more excited about the upcoming single.

The release date is set for 8/10.

Details For Goto Maki’s 1st Album and Concert Released

20 07 2011

The title for Goto Maki’s 1st full album, and final release before her hiatus, is titled Ai Kotoba (VOICE).

There will be three versions: the first featuring 2CDs+2DVDs, the second featuring a CD+DVD, and the third featuring only a CD. They will feature tracks from her mini-albums, as well as a ballad titled Hanauta – hanauta-, and more for a total of 15 tracks (according to CDJapan).

The two disc and four disc editions both feature a DVD with the PV for Queen Bee with BIGGA RAIJI, but the four disc edition also contains 15 postcards featuring photos of Maki Goto shot in Kabukicho. The bonus CD for the four disc edition will be titled Collabo-Works Disc with 11 tracks selected from her collaboration works and the bonus DVD will be titled Making Movie Disc with making-of footage of her works such as photo shootings, music videos, and more.

The title for her final concert before her hiatus will be G-Emotion FINAL.

Along with the digital releases released today we got quite a lot of details about her first full album with avex, and it seems that there will be quite a lot of content for fans to enjoy since there will be many bonus DVDs and CDs along with postcards and more, and while we don’t know the tracklist it’s great to see that Avex is doing a great job with Goto’s last release before her break.

The concert will most likely feature the 15 tracks from the album since it will be released fairly close to the start of that performance, but we won’t know for sure until the day that she performs, although it seems like the title they used is perfect for Goto’s farewell concert before her break since it seems to sum up the theme of the concert well (that being a farewell from Goto full of emotions).

Hopefully everyone who can will reserve a copy of her new album as well as attend her concert since it’s the perfect way to show Goto support, and while these will be the last releases for a while it seems like avex is doing it’s best to release as much content as possible.

The release date for her album is set for 11/2 and the date for her concert will be on 12/4.

Goto Maki – “What is LOVE” and “SCANDALOUS” Previews Released

20 07 2011

Previews for Goto Maki’s digital single titled What is LOVE / SCANDALOUS have been released.

A few weeks ago we found out that Goto would take a break from her career and while it was a sad announcement for many fans she did announce that she would release a single, an album, and perform a concert, and today it seems that details about all of these releases have become available for fans to see, among them a preview of her new single which seems to be available only through the internet (I can’t find it in any stores so it’s most likely a digital release).

Thankfully Avex uploaded some previews of her new songs and I’m pretty impressed with both since they have contrasting sounds that everyone will love. What is LOVE has a very powerful and catchy sound that is somewhat hard to describe, but it’s full of bass and many great vocals that R&B fans will enjoy while SCANDALOUS has a lighter and more ballad oriented R&B sound with the same feeling in the vocals.

I’m usually not a fan of R&B but Goto has done a pretty good job with her releases lately and I’m glad to see that these songs have such a powerful sound since they seem to show off her talent quite well since the vocals are heard clearly in both songs, and with a bass filled song and a clearer ballad it seems that the songs did a perfect job of appealing to everyone.

I recommend everyone check out the preview as soon as possible since they are both great songs and since the music is set to a montage of Goto singing in the studio, dancing, and just listening to music it makes the songs a bit more meaningful since we get to see all of the effort that went into them.

Hopefully everyone who can will buy the songs since it’s the perfect release for Goto fans.

The songs are available now.
