Yajima Maimi – “Kaifuu” e-Hello DVD Announced

The e-Hello DVD for Yajima Maimi titled Kaifuu (Sea Breeze) has been announced.

Along with the announcement, a picture has been released on the e-lineup page bout the product which could give some hints on the theme of the DVD…

The title itself is really amazing since it reflects Maimi’s calm and tender personality like a soft see breeze, and among all the e-Hello DVDs released so
far, I specially like hers because of it’s uniqueness and it’s relation to her caracter.

The picture provided on the site is truly amazing since we get to see Maimi in a beautiful soft pink dress with a chale over it, while sitting on a wooden chair smiling peacefully towards the camera, and the background which represets the sea really makes the picture special and brings out the theme of the DVD.

Overall, this is set to be an awesome release for Maimi fans and hopefully a preview will become available on C-ute’s YouTube channel.

The release date is set for 23/2.

EDIT: The title is actually Kaifuu and not “Umi Kaze” as mentionned before, but both words have the same meaning.

Shimizu Saki’s Official Blog Opened

Shimizu Saki’s official Ameba blog has been opened.

I was really surprised to see a blog for Captain being opened since I expected Momo or Risako to get one first, but I am very happy to see that she has a permanent blog since it gives fans a chance to check out more detailed entries about her daily life and what she is doing.

The title of the blog is “Saki Studio” and the banner features the title in a heart with a few diamonds around it and Captain in her amazing outfit for the single, which looks great since the title is cute and the banner is simple but eye catching.

Her first entry seems to be an introduction to everyone with a small list of facts about her (her birthday and other similar bits of info) and I really liked that she did the first post that way since people who stumble upon her blog can check out a few details (in a list) about her and read more about her day and what she has been doing during the concert tour.

Hopefully we get to see more Berryz Koubou blogs being opened soon.

Morning Musume “Maji Desu ka Ska!” Limited Edition DVD Content Revealed

The content for the Limited Edition DVDs for Morning Musume’s 45th single titled Maji Desu ka Ska! has been revealed.

The DVDs for the single will include an alternate version of the PV (not yet specified) as well as an interview with each member, Neowing confirmed the interviews but it didn’t specify the member names (the list above is most likely right) so it seems like this will be the content for the DVD so far.

Since the DVDs will include an interview it seems like the four versions for the single make more sense since there are four members (4 members = 4 limited editions), and since there are interviews with the new members in each DVD it gives fans more of a reason to buy more than one copy since most of us have more than one favorite member in the 9th generation.

The only part of the DVD content that hasn’t been released are the alternate PVs for each edition but we should find out soon since the release date will be next month, but since recent singles have had singles with different titles we don’t really know what to expect since they could be solo versions for the new members (not likely) or some other kind of shot from the PV.

So far there doesn’t seem to be that much info about the single apart from the description of the single the manager for the group tweeted (according to the tweet the song will be  “super energetic” and it’s “cute” which will make you listen to it many times)  along with an update that Ai-chan cut her hair short once again, which is a great sign that this single will be different than their last release.

Hopefully more info about the DVDs is released soon along with a preview for the song or the PV since this single is turning out to be pretty interesting so far.

Berryz Koubou “Heroine ni Narou ka!” Full Radio Preview Released

A full radio preview for Berryz Koubou’s 25th single titled Heroine ni Narou ka! has been released.

The song starts off with a clear intro of the song but before Risako starts singing the announcer for the radio program starts talking so we didn’t get a chance to listen to the entire song without interruption, but apart from that small talk at the beginning the rest of the song sounds perfect and in perfect quality.

If you heard the first preview then you have a pretty good idea of what the song sounds but in the full preview we get to find out what the bridge and the other half of the song sound like and I was very impressed with what I heard since the song followed a catchy beat all throughout the song.

After Miyabi’s line the bridge starts with opera voices which lead to a group line where the song starts of again with a slightly higher key, which sounds amazing since it added a dramatic feeling to the song, and apart from that we get to hear a loud line by Chii with her yelling the last part of her line which sounded interesting and added a nice touch to the song.

The last line of the song was sung by Kumai after Risako’s line and I have to admit that I loved that part of the song since Kumai singing without any other instruments really shows off her great vocal skills, and even though the end of the song is similar to the beginning I really loved the way the entire song sounds.

I really recommend that all Berryz fans listen to it since it is an amazing song, and hopefully everyone already has their copy reserved or plans on buying the tracks when they are released on iTunes.

Berryz Koubou “Hero Arawaru!” Radio Preview Released

A preview for the c/w of Berryz Koubou’s 25th single titled Hero Arawaru! has been released.

The song has an upbeat sound with an amazing guitar instrumental that combines more equal lines with happy lyrics (from what I can understand) which results in a great b-side which impressed me and despite it being a bit too repetitive for some parts of the song I really like the way the song turned out.

The intro seems to be among the highlights since I thought I was listening to a Buono styled song, but I was glad to hear Berryz Koubou singing since it seems like a nice way for fans to enjoy a rock styled song, and with the many different happy sounds throughout the song I really enjoyed how the overall song sounded.

Apart from the happy lyrics, upbeat sound and vocals, and guitar and synthesizer instrumental there isn’t much else to talk about but I am glad to see that this is the b-side since it has an amazing sound, although it seems to lack something which could have made it a great a-side.

Despite that I hope fans enjoy the song since it seems like a great addition to the single, and hopefully fans already have their copies reserved.

The release date is set for 3/2.

Morning Musume ~Rival Survival~ Concert Tour PB Cover Released

The cover for Morning Musume’s Concert Tour ~Rival Survival~ PB has been released.

As expected of concert PBs most of the cover features a shot of all of Morning Musume in concert and I really like the shot that they used since it shows off the great power that they had during their last performance as a group, and since this PB will contain many great images from the concert from start to finish it’s a must have for all fans.

From what we can see it seems that they decided to do a different theme from the original camouflage styled logo and instead replace it with a glittery silver, purple and blue font which actually looks great, although it would have been great to see the original tour art as well.

Hopefully all fans reserve a copy of this PB since it seems like this PB could be the perfect companion to the DVD release of the concert.

The release date is set for 2/16.

Mano Erina’s Concert Tour Titled “Mano Erina Concert Tour 2011 ~Hatachi no Otome 801 DAYS~

The title for Mano Erina’s concert tour has been revealed to be Mano Erina Concert Tour 2011 ~Hatachi no Otome 801 DAYS~ on the FC site.

It has been quite some time since Mano’s last tour so I am happy to see that the title isn’t as long as the previous title but instead it seems to have a cute meaning since it translates to Mano Erina Concert Tour 2011 ~20 year old maiden 801 DAYS, which is somewhat confusing at first glance since the 801 DAYS mention doesn’t seem to be explained.

I checked the date and the start of the concert tour (May 28) is the 801st day after the release of her first major single, Otome no Inori, which seems like the perfect way to commemorate her debut as a major artist in 2009 and it makes the title an interesting bit of information for Mano fans to enjoy since it seems like a long time since she first debuted.

Hopefully fans can go to the start of her concert tour since this tour seems like it will be amazing.

Berryz Koubou’s “3 Oku Yen Shoujo” DVDs Up For Preorder

DVDs for Berryz Koubou’s stage play titled 3 Oku Yen Shoujo for Shimizu Saki, Tsugunaga Momoko, Tokunaga Chinami, Sudou Maasa, Natsuyaki Miyabi, and Kumai Yurina are up for preorder on e-lineup.

Even though I haven’t had a chance to check out the stage play DVD with Risako as lead I am glad to see that they will release DVDs for the other members since most fans will probably prefer to see the play with their favorite member(s) as lead.

The covers for the DVDs haven’t been released, but we will probably have to wait until the DVDs are released to find out since the only picture on the individual pages for the DVDs seem to be the pictures of each member in the outfit for the play, but I really like how each member looks since they all seem to be in character.

The DVDs are up for preorder from today (or a few days ago) but I don’t know how long they will be available so if you are interested I suggest you reserve your copy as soon as possible so you can enjoy the play.

The DVDs will ship in mid-April.
