Berryz Koubou – “Shining Power” Profile Pic Released

The official H!P site has updated with a profile picture for Berryz Koubou’s 24th single titled Shining Power.

Like their previous single H!P has decided to release the group profile pic before updating the individual pictures so for now this is the only picture we have of the outfits, but even though we only have one picture I am still amazed by how impressive everyone looks.

First of all you might have noticed that most of the members have dark hair (Chinami has brown hair and both her and Kumai have white highlights though) which is very surprising since we are all used to seeing light brown hair color in most of the H!P members, but I love how it combines perfectly with their red and black outfits.

It seems that they also decided to change the theme of the costumes and go with a more similar look for everyone featuring a dark red dress which looks really cool, and it’s great to see that even though they have similar colored outfits they have small differences among them (mostly in the collar and accessories).

For the most part everyone got a different hairstlye, from Kumai with a dark straight hairstyle with white highlights, to Momo with a more mature princess like style, Chinami with an impressive white highlighted side-swept style, Risako with a hairband, Miyabi with an elegant headband, Maasa with a style similar to Airi’s in Buono’s single Bravo Bravo, and Captain with a unique and impressive style.

Overall the costume theme seems to match the slower ballad sound of the song perfectly since the dark red dresses as well as the general dark color of everyone’s hair combine to form a somewhat more mature image than what we are used to seeing from Berryz, and I am amazed at how well they all look since the look is certainly unique.

Hopefully we get previews for the PV sometime soon as well as individual pictures for everyone so we can get a better look at the outfits.

The release date is set for 11/10.
