Morning Musume and S/mileage are set to tape a performance on MUSIC JAPAN. This will be S/mileage’s debut on MUSIC JAPAN.
I’m glad to see that Morning Musume is appearing on MUSIC JAPAN since now that Utaban and Music Fighter have ended it will probably be one of their main targets for promotion.
As previously mentioned it is also the debut for S/mileage on the show, and with the popularity the show has it will most likely guarantee more sales for their debut single, which is a great way to start their major career.
Not much has been revealed about the performance but Morning Musume will most likely perform their 43rd single Seishun Collection, and S/mileage will most likely perform Yume Miru 15sai since they are their latest singles.
The air date for the episode hasn’t been fixed yet but according to Amped-Echoz it will air either 5/23, 5/30, or 6/6 @ 6:10pm and depending on their single release date, so most likely we will have heard the preview for Morning Musume’s Seishun Collection by then.
The taping of the performances will be on 5/17.

Utaban is cancelled and will be replaced by the Music Hour which starts at the end of the month.
I assume the show has a very similar feel to Utaban but probably a little less on the gameshow/variety show antics. Morning Musume are bound to appear on that program.
Most likely, but if it continues to be somewhat of the same show then we can expect to see a lot more of the OGs instead of the current Momusu as well :/
