Shuukan Yoro! Vol 91

13 05 2011

Site News: The semester is officially over for me today after a long week of studying so I will now have more time to catch up on all of the promised work I have accumulated throughout the past few weeks, and since I don’t have much else planned for next week (except to catch up on some rest) I will make sure to get everything done as soon as possible.

Now that I’m out of school for a few months I will start to work more on projects I have thought of, so even though they are still in idea form (meaning I haven’t started them, but I have thought of them) I will try and finish and detail them as soon as I can so that everyone can check them out.

I also wanted to mention that there will finally be a new header in the next few days! The current one has been used for a lot of time (close to a year or more) so I am glad to see that the site will finally get a small refresh with a new header since it will give the site a new look.

The new header will be up during the next few days, so please look forward to it! Profiles, Upcoming Releases section, Birthday, and other sections will be updated for sure (no more school for a few months, and since it was my priority I can focus on my next priority, this site).

Polls: The winner for this poll was Shimizu Saki with 354 votes (37%), congratulations Captain! Tsugunaga Momoko came in second with 326 votes (34%), and Sugaya Risako came in third with 288 votes (30%).

There was a total of 968 votes for this poll.

Congratulations Captain!

Surprising results for this past week’s poll! As most of you are already aware Captain has had a pretty dedicated and solid fanbase which has helped her quite a bit in most of her polls since she has won most of them with a fairly big lead over other members, but instead of dominating the polls this time the results were a bit more spread out.

Momo had about 30 votes less than captain and Risako had about 40 less than Momo, which in comparison to previous polls is quite a big change since past polls have been dominated by one member (Reina or Ai for example), and while this might be a bit too close for some I am glad to see that all three of these members have great support from their fans.

Since all members did pretty good in this poll I don’t need to wish them luck since they have done a great job on their own, despite that I wish them luck anyways since they might have a future pairing with other members who have dominated the polls for other groups (mainly Ai), but for now congratulations Captain!

Next poll will feature Tokunaga Chinami, Hagiwara Mai, and Ogawa Saki, and despite having no clear advantage over the others I am looking forward to seeing if Chii or Mai will finally get their first win as members of the week since they each deserve to be members of the week at least once, although we will find out when the results are tallied up next week, so please vote!

Just a reminder for those who don’t vote: If you do have a chance please vote since it only takes two clicks and you help your favorite member appear as member of the week!

To make it easier for fans I will provide the direct link to the poll HERE.

Please vote!

Shuukan Yoro: It’s the 2nd day of Sudou Maasa’s week about “Ping Pong”.

Today the Ping Pong Berryz tournament will start and the first pair up will be Chinami against Momoko, and even though we don’t get to see the complete match it is pretty fun to see Momo’s cute playing poses.

Next up are Kumai against Risako and we get to see a bit less from their match, although the part where Kumai hit the ball toward Momo scaring her was pretty funny (she seems to be really easy to scare, especially when a ping pong ball is slowly hit towards her).

If you want to find out who won each match then please watch the episode since it is pretty interesting, and even though some people might not be fans of a slightly slower match of ping pong it is interesting to see Momo’s cute reactions.
