Matsuura Aya’s 7th Album “Click You Link Me” Confirmed

29 09 2010

Matsuura Aya’s 7th album titled Click You Link Me has been confirmed by the Shinseido site.

Aya herself announced the album during a live a few weeks ago, so it’s great that we finally get an official confirmation and links to buy her album since many Ayaya fans will most likely want to reserve a copy as soon as possible.

For now there isn’t much else that we know about the album so hopefully in a few weeks we get a tracklist so we can find out how many songs we can expect to hear.

The release date is set for 11/24.

Matsuura Aya’s 7th Album Announced, Titled “Click You Link Me”

12 09 2010

Matsuura Aya has announced during a recent performance the release of her 7th album titled Click You Link Me.

The announcement was done during a recent Cotton Club concert, and according to fan translations the album will have a mixture of cover and new songs that will continue with her “relaxing” genre that her previous albums have had.

I’m excited that we are finally getting another Matsuura Aya album since it has been a few years since her last single or album release, and even though she has had a few events here and there after her graduation from H!P I am glad to see that she will once again be active and start releasing material.

I am not a big Aya fan but I do admit that I am somewhat curious about the sounds from her new album since she does have some catchy songs, and even though she mentioned that the album would have a relaxed feeling I do hope that there are a few songs that are slightly more upbeat.

It’s great to see the recent rise in former H!P members releases and even though the release date is currently the same as Mano and Goto’s (I have no idea why 11/24 is such a great album release date) I look forward to finding out more about the album, such as a tracklist or some previews.

Links to pre-order (as well as an official confirmation) should be appearing sometime soon, if it’s not an FC exclusive release, so hopefully all Aya fans reserve their copy when they appear.

The release date is set for 11/24.

Here is the video where the announcement is made (from 00:26:25 onwards):

Matsuura Aya Cotton Club Live Announced

20 08 2010

Matsuura Aya’s next live titled Matsuura Aya Cotton Club Live (tentative title) has been announced.

It’s great to see that she is still actively performing since it has been quite a while since she has had a busy schedule, and even though we haven’t seen a new single from her since 2009 it will most likely be a very enjoyable performance for everyone who goes since she has a great list of songs from which to choose.

For now it seems that the details are still undecided so information on how to buy tickets for the live and the official title of the performances haven’t been released, but hopefully in the following weeks we can find out more.

The live will be at the Cotton Club in Tokyo on the following dates:

  • 9/11 – 17:00 / 20:00
  • 9/12 – 17:00 / 20:00

H!P Releases December 23

24 12 2009

Two releases today, the DVD for Matsuura Aya’s latest concert tour and the last DVD for the Yorosen series:

Matsuura Aya – Matsuura Aya Concert Tour ~Omai Afurete~: The DVD for Matsuura Aya’s latest concert tour, and last for at least 2-3 years according to her.

Since I haven’t seen the entire concert I will base my review on the preview which was released on Dohhh-UP:

Matsuura Aya – Omoi Afurete

Dohhh-UP Link To Preview Of Matsuura Aya’s Concert DVD

For the most part Matsuura continues to impress me with her vocal talent and how she tries her best to give emotion to the words that she is singing.

The addition of a live musician was a great addition since it gave the song a bit more of a real feeling, and although Matsuura didn’t move that much during the performance (since the song is a ballad) she did manage to do an incredible performance.

Overall I would recommend it to all of her fans since this will be her last live for some time, since she stated that she wants to focus on new songs so I would highly recommend you get a copy if possible.

Hello! Project – Yorosen! Vol 7: The last DVD for the Yorosen series which features the remaining episodes of Yorosen.

Like most of the DVDs it features episodes we have already seen, but the DVD also came with an extra addition which was surprising: lost episodes.

If most of you remember the Yorosen series ended with Maimai doing a commentary on some of the clips, but she actually did a normal Yorosen week as well, but for some reason it didn’t air. Here are some pics of the episode:

Pic Credit: Amped-Echoz

According to the description she was teaching English, which explains the blond wig and the LA fashion look. I would have preferred to see these episodes instead of the other one simply because it seems they look more fun than sitting in a studio watching videos.

They probably didn’t air it since they wanted to end the series with a personal message but we will most likely not find out soon.

Anyways I strongly recommend this DVD for everyone who hasn’t gotten a chance to see the episodes since the episodes are in perfect quality and they also feature the long lost episodes which seems like a great addition.

The next release date is set for 12/24 with Ishikawa Rika’s 10th PB.

Matsuura Aya Concert Tour ~Omoi Afurete~ DVD Cover Released

3 12 2009

The cover for Matsuura Aya’s DVD for her Concert Tour ~Omoi Afurete~ has been released on the UFA site.

For the most part the cover is somewhat simple since it features Ayaya on a dark background with the title of the concert in the corner, and although it’s a little bit too dark and empty I like how they used an image of Ayaya looking at a light (possible Christmas reference?).

A preview will most likely appear on Dohhh-UP in some weeks so I will update when it is released.

The release date is set for 12/23.

The full tracklist for Hello! Project’s Pucchi Best 10 album has been released. The new tracklist features new songs for most of the shuffle groups, including High-King and Shin Minimoni.

The two new songs from Shin Minimoni (Pen Pen Kyoudai) and High King (DESTINY LOVE) sound like they fit the image of their respective groups perfectly, especially Shin Minimoni’s. The only shuffle group that is missing a song is ZYX-a, which is most likely due to the graduation of two of their members (Kusumi and Erika).

Overall the tracklist looks great since it includes something for everyone because of the variety of songs included (Elder Club, Hello! Project, Hello! Pro Egg, etc).

The release date is set for 12/2.

Pucchi Best Vol 10 CD And DVD Covers Released

11 11 2009

Pucchi Best Vol 10 CD 3252 Pucchi Best Vol 10 DVD 1235

(Left – Pucchi Best 10 Album, Right – Pucchi Best 10 DVD

The covers for the album and the DVD for Hello! Project’s Pucchi Best 10 have been released.

The covers feature Natsumi Abe, Morning Musume (“Shouganai Yume Oibito” costume), Berryz Koubou (“Rival” costumes), Matsuura Aya, C-ute (“EVERYDAY Zekkouchou!” costume), Guardians 4 (“Omakase Guardian” costume), S/mileage (“aMa no Jaku” costume), Buono (MY BOY costumes), Mano Erina (Otome no Inori costume), Yaguchi Mari (Seishun Boku), Satoda Mai, Tsukishima Kirari (“Happy Happy Sunday” costume), Shugo Chara Egg, and three Hello! Pro Egg’s (most likely Saho Akari, Takeuchi Akari, and Miyamoto Karin).

The golden colored tiles serve a purpose since they form the 10 in “Pucchi Best 10” and as a result make it easily noticeable among the other versions. For the most part the covers look kind of strange because of the colors they used (gold with pink and blue), but at least all of the members are featured and the CD and DVD versions are easily identifiable.

The release date is set for 12/2.

The track lists for Hello! Project’s Pucchi Best 10 album and DVD have been released. I’m kind of surprised to see them include Satoda Mai’s “Bye Bye” and Yaguchi’s “Seishun Boku” songs although they were technically released before they graduated from Hello! Project (Yaguchi’s barely made it by being released a week before leaving H!P).

Like rumored the new songs by the shuffle units will be released on the album, including songs from Guardians 4, Buono, S/mileage, and Shugo Chara Egg. I’m glad to see that we will be able to have S/mileage’s debut song in an H!P album, although I would have liked to see Nanchatte Renai on the album instead of Shouganai Yume Oibito (I like them both, but Nanchatte seemed to be a better choice).

Kusumi’s last single as Tsukishima Kirari is also included which is a great relief, and Berryz Koubou’s “Seishun Bus Guide” wasn’t much of a surprise either. What is interesting to see is the “Others” on the DVD, which might mean we could get Shuffle Group PV’s, since they seem to be the only one’s without a PV (except Satoda’s “Bye Bye”, and Berryz who seem to have released “Seishun Bus Guide” on the album and “Rival” on the DVD).

Hopefully we get a confirmed list but for now the setlist is looking great.

The release date is set for 12/2.

H!P Releases February 24

24 02 2009

Long time no see, right? Extremely slow H!P news lately so you can’t really blame me, and the Alo Hello! 2 review is going badly, so expect it around this Sunday, why? I had to fill an mp3 player with all of Morning Musume, C-ute, Berryz Koubou, Biyuuden, and most H!P singles, and that ain’t easy. Also please excuse the messy layout of the covers, I don’t know how to change that. Anyway here is the list of released products…:

  • Maeda Yuki – Kenchana (Single)
  • Maeda Yuki – Kenchana (Other)
  • Shugo Chara! Egg – Shugo! Shugo! (Regular Edition)
  • Shugo Chara! Egg – Shugo! Shugo! (Limited Edition)
  • Morning Musume – Nai Chau Kamo (Single V)
  • Matsuura Aya – Chocolate Damashi (Single V)
  • V/A – Kirarin Revolution Special Liv.
  • Berryz Kobo – Gekidan Gekihalo Dai 5 Kai Koen Berryz Kobo vs Berryz Kobo (DVD)

The only real interesting releases are the Nai Chau Kamo (Single V) and maybe the Berry Koubou DVD (In my opinion). Maeda Yuki’s single doesn’t reallpy appeal to me (I only put one cover because the “other” is just a cassete release), and Shugo! Shugo! is just cute…not much to build on that. Matsuura Aya’s latest single was her worst selling one for those that didn’t hear, somewhere around 17th place I heard, so I bet the single V isn’t going to sell well either.

The Kirarin Revolution DVD is just another DVD to reap the benefits of Koharu’s popularity, and one thing I’ve seen some parts of the anime and I don’t understand why they say she dubs well, half the character’s mouth movements were in silence, it was like watching a badly dubbed english to spanish western movie from the 70’s, although it had it’s parts. The Berryz Koubou DVD is from some concert (Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space according to Hello! Online)…and I can’t build from that either.

Pick them up through the upcoming releases page, not sure if they are there, I plan to update the list tommorrow, but look for them there, if not search through YesAsia or Amazon, but they are probably there.
