Mano Erina’s 10th single titled My Days For You was announced by Mano at a recent event as well as her managers Twitter account.

The single was written by Up-Front artist Nakajima Takui, although other information such as the number of limited editions or the tracks haven’t been released.
I’m really happy to see that another single for Mano has already been announced since everyone else already has a soon to be released single except for Mano, and since her last single was released quite a while back (in January) I was a bit worried that we hadn’t heard from her, although announcing the new single at an event was the perfect way for fans to find out about the single.
The biggest detail for this single is that the song will be written by Nakajima Takui, since it seems that he hasn’t worked on a Mano single yet (Miura Yoshiko seems to have written most of her songs), which should be a very interesting way of changing her sound and while we have no idea what to expect with a new artist writing her song I really hope we can find out soon since the change might be a great way for fans to enjoy a different theme from Mano.
The title seems to be somewhat similar to Morning Musume’s Only You but the title for Mano’s is a bit more unique since it seems to have a ballad theme, although her recent musical direction seems to lean towards the upbeat ballad territory so we will most likely get something upbeat, although it is too early to know for sure since the single hasn’t even appeared on Neowing or other sites.
While the single will be released until the end of June I am very happy to see that another Mano release is on the way since she is a great singer who seems to get lower promotion and concerts than other artists, so I really hope we can see some better promotion for this single (a movie or drama tie in would be nice) since Mano hasn’t dissapointed yet with her releases.
Hopefully Mano fans reserve their copy when the single is released.
The release date is set for 6/29.

Let’s hope UFA promotes this. If they have the ability to put Dream Morning Musume on multiple TV and radio shows they can bloody well do the same for Mano. They should stop catering exclusively to hardcore fans.
Sometimes I wonder if UFA instead of “can’t” promote just “won’t” promote.
In any case I’m looking forward to this. Seishun no Serenade was my favorite single of hers. Curious to see what Nakajima Takui will bring to the table. I’m setting aside some cash to buy this, just in case :)

Miura Yoshiko only writes Mano’s lyrics. Mano’s music has been written by everyone from Taisei to Hatake to KAN to Tsunku.
