19. Aozora ga itsumade mo tsuzuku you na mirai de are!

There’s no surprise to the tracklist since they used the same one for the entire tour and since H!P has been doing the multiple setlist thing seeing Dream Morning Musume with one solid setlist is quite a relief because I don’t have to worry about missing anything.

The cover features the members in a white cheetah print outfit with a red-orange-pink cyber background. I’m a bit surprised that the outfits used weren’t more glittery/shiny since in most photos of Dream Morning Musume they’re using something that sparkles. Regardless of that though the outfits and cover is nice.

Also so far the bluray version of this release features the same setlist but as of now the cover hasn’t been released yet, though I’m assuming it’s going to be the same. Hopefully we’ll get a confirmation on that soon.

Overall this is a great release and hopefully everyone supports them by reserving a copy.

The DVD is set to release on 9/14.

Dream Morning Musume Will Be On “Megami no Kiseki”

1 03 2011

Dream Morning Musume will be on the show “Megami no Kiseki.”

I’m not sure what  type of show it is but it looks somewhat like a talk show. I believe this is the first show for Dream Morning Musume so I’m excited to see what happens and to see the type of interaction on the show. It’s also a nice way to promote the group and I’m glad that they are getting the promotion. Right now I’m unsure if there will be a performance but I hope they will do one.

Dream Morning Musume will appear on 3/8.

Dream Morning Musume’s “Dream 1” album tracklist has been released.

I’m very surprised at how fast everything is moving with Dream Morning Musume. Within a few days a concert, album and now the album’s tracklist have all been announced. Even with everything moving fast I hope UFA doesn’t miss other details such as the DVD/CD cover.

Regardless of that I’m a little bit disappointed in the tracklist. I was hoping that they wouldn’t do the “classic” Morning Musume songs, which are the songs everyone knows about and loves from Morning Musume. (Like Love Machine and Renai Revolution 21) I love these songs and all too but every has heard it being performed with this line up before so there’s really nothing new, plus if they go with how the line distribution was before some members will be left out. Mainly it’s Disk 2 I’m not too happy with.

Disk 1 on the other hand I’m really loving it. I wasn’t such a big fan on Mikan but with the current lineup Koharu Kusumi is the only member to have performed this song so I’m looking forward to seeing how the other members perform it. Also the  1st and 2nd song the that disk is something new so I’m looking forward to it. There is also 2 new songs on Disk 1 so I’m very excited to get a preview and title of that.

Hopefully all fans buy a copy of this special album when it’s released.

The release date is set for 4/20.

Dream Morning Musume Announces Album Titled “Dream 1”

28 01 2011

Dream Morning Musume announced at a press conference that they will be releasing their 1st album titled “Dream 1“.

There will be two versions, the limited and regular edition. The limited edition comes with a DVD while the regular comes with a postcard.

Hearing that they announced an album I’m really excited to hear what kind of songs they have on it, I’m hoping they’ll release some new songs but it’s also possible that they will be doing covers so we’ll see how that turns out.

Also originally Tsuji Nozomi had been listed as a member but after giving birth and all of course she wouldn’t have been included in the concerts but I’m wondering if she will be participating in the album. As for the recent graduates, they most likely won’t be participating in this album since Junjun and Linlin have returned to China and Kamei will probably still be recovering. But on their official site it says that the line up may change at the concert so it’s possible that they may change who participates on the album.

Overall I’m looking forward to seeing Dream Morning Musume continue their activity and I hope that their concert as well as their album is a success!

The album will be released on 4/20.

Morning Musume OG Concert Tour 2011 Announced

24 12 2010

A concert tour for Morning Musume OG titled Dream Morning Musume Concert Tour 2011 Haru no Mai ~Sotsugyousei DE Saikessei~ has been announced.

Acording to the announcement Nakazawa Yuko, Iida Kaori, Abe Natsumi, Yasuda Kei, Yaguchi Mari, Ishikawa Rika, Yoshizawa Hitomi, Tsuji Nozomi, Ogawa Makoto, Fujimoto Miki, and Kusumi Koharu will be participating in the concert tour (basically everyone except Konno Asami).

I’m glad to see that they decided to do a Morning Musume OG tour since it has been a while since we last saw them perform together, and while Konno won’t be able to perform (most likely because she is busy at training for her TV Tokyo announcer job) it will most likely be a great tour for all OG fans since we will be able to see most of OG performing H!P classics.

We don’t know what the setlist may contain but it will most likely have many solo songs from each one of the solo artists (Nakazawa, Iida, Abe, Yaguchi, and Fujimoto) as well as some group performances, which should be very interesting to see since we will get a chance to hear many great songs being performed by OG members.

For now we don’t know what to expect from the tour, but hopefully OG fans buy their tickets to enjoy this unique and impressing concert tour when it starts in April.

The concert will feature the following dates:

Elder Club Graduates

2 02 2009

Takahashi Ai (dressed as Chun Li from Street Fighter?) recieving the Hello! Project leadership from Nakazawa Yuko

Well today marks an extremely big event in Hello! Project history, as most of you knew the Elder Club was going to graduate and today was the last day they were part of H!P. Today (or tonight depending on your location) 22 members graduated from H!P in Yokohama arena, including all former Morning Musume members, Melon Kinenbi, Matsuura Aya, Maeda Yuki, Satoda Mai and others (I can’t remember them all right now).

The concert was the biggest ever, 78 members participated! This concert also brought many surprises, such as: Tsuji’s comeback to stage, the last performance of LOVE Machine, Tanpopo minus one reuniting for the last time, Pucchi Moni’s last performance, Yossi crying, etc. I haven’t seen it, but I read the summary over at H!O and from what I understand all of the graduating members read a goodbye with the three current leaders of the primary groups, Takahashi Ai (Morning Musume), Yajima Maimi (C-ute), and Shimizu Saki (Berryz Koubou) saying a response.

The concerts peak point was the giving of the H!P leadership to Takahashi Ai from Nakazawa Yuko. The concert also included a performance of “All For One and One For All!” which is the song which really means H!P to some fans because everyone sings together. Almost everyone was there, excluding some people: Goto Maki who is in AVEX, although she did send flowers, Kago Ai whose contract was terminated after the scandals, and some others. To mention it, Ishiguro Aya was there, not singing but backstage.

To recap:
– 78 members performed, 22 graduated, 56 are left as H!P members
– Tsuji made a comeback to stage
– The average age is now 15.1, down from 18
– LOVE Machine is now a retired song
– Biggest H!P concert ever
– Takahashi Ai is Hello! Project’s new leader.

This is a monumental movement (symbolically of course, they will all still be in UFA, but not under the Hello! Project label) because Hello! Project now rests on the hands of Morning Musume, Berryz Koubou, C-ute and Mano Erina.

Pics of the concert:

Yoshizawa crying, rarer than seeing Niigaki not smiling

Wait a minute, Ishiguro Aya?

Goto Maki’s flowers sent to the graduates, looks like she’ll order from a flower shop next time, and not from a funeral home.

EDIT: The Elder club won’t leave Hello! Project officially until March 31, this is only their last concert together.
