Morning Musume – “Kono Chikyuu no Heiwa wo Honki de Negatterun da yo!” Full PV Released

29 08 2011

The full PV for one of the a-sides of Morning Musume’s 47th single titled Kono Chikyuu no Heiwa wo Honki de Negatterun da yo! has been released.

From the start it’s obvious that the concept for this PV was to match the brilliant outfits that the members are wearing, and for the most part they did an amazing job with that since the graphics show almost every second of the PV features some kind of impressive light effect, from the “rainbow road” setting for the dance shot to the effects that flash randomly as they do a close-up, the PV is simply a solid release.

There are about three shots: the shot where they get up from bed and enter outer space, as well as the usual dance shot and the close-up shots, and while there might be a few things that stand out I really thought this was an amazing PV that catches the style of the song well since the funky beat matches the cool and bright effects and lights we see.

The shot of them getting up from bed and entering space is tied to the other PV for this release and while they might be very different I really liked that they added that connection since it reminds everyone that this is a double a-side release. Apart from that I loved the way they added the scene with Ai-chan and the star since it gave the PV a brilliant look.

The dance for this release is slightly simple, but it matches the song perfectly since the two lines of everyone dancing put the singers in focus, while it gives them a chance to show off a simple but fun dance anyone can do. Aika is missing in the dance shot for obvious reasons, but she’s in the other shots although they put her in the front so her cast wouldn’t show, which is way too obvious for everyone who knows about her injury but still a great way to include her while taking care of her injury.

The close-ups are as brilliant as the other light filled shots of the PV since the members are in front of a shiny screen (slightly similar to Only You but a bit different), and with the added effects each member really shined since everyone appeared and sang their lines with my favorites being Gaki, Ai-chan, Reina, Sayu and Kanon since they really seemed to be into the song and performed impressively, although everyone looked great and did a perfect job singing their lines.

While there might be way too many light effects the PV was in my opinion an amazing capture of the song since the funky beats mix with the colorful “rainbow road” type dance shot, as well as with everything else. The connection between the two PVs is nice but for now we have only seen the full PV for only one of the two, so we’ll have to wait to find out how much they connect, but until then this release is simply amazing and a must see for everyone.

Unfortunately the fan-uploaded PVs were taken down from Youtube so only a Dailymotion link is available for now but I will update once it’s on the Morning Musume channel, which should be very soon since it has already aired.

The release date is set for 9/14.

EDIT: Here’s a Youtube link for those who have trouble with the Dailymotion video, the embedding was disabled on the second link so I can’t add it directly to the post but this one works perfectly:

I’ve probably watched this 25 times by now. I can’t stop watching. I love it so much *-* Ai-chan is the most elegant, the most graceful, the most beautiful, the most powerful. What an appropriate last single before her graduation. I think this is the most awesome thing Tsunku has ever done. Don’t you think it’s the most epic?

“my favorites being Gaki, Ai-chan, Reina, Sayu and Fukuda since they really seemed to be into the song and performed impressively”

Fukuda graduated over a decade ago. XD

I think the writer was talking about Kanon but put her last name as “Fukuda” instead of “Suzuki” :)

Fukuda Kanon is in S/mileage.

I am, sorry I just corrected it ^_^;;;

It’s not the first time I’ve mixed up Kanon and Fukuda since I instantly relate the name “Kanon” to S/mileage’s Kanon XD

They’re talking about Fukuda Asuka, who did graduation from Morning Musume after their 4th single, Memory Seishun no Hikari. She was the first member to graduation from Morning Musume.

I think it’s a beautiful video and a good song.

But the other 3 9th gen members got shafted again when it came to solo lines and are hardly heard in this song.

Mizuki and Erina are hardly even seen in the video. They’re either on the ends of the dance formation or just not given enough screenshots. And I think Mizuki’s elegant appearance would have been great for this.

The part at the end where Ai walks towards the door that appears makes me want to cry :(

It was a creative idea though.

When Ai caught the star I was nearly crying TT_TT
Erina and Mizuki are my favorite members, but I don’t care that they didn’t get lines, the spotlight should be on Ai-chan.
I can’t wait for Kare to Issho ni Omise ga Shitai!!
