The updated tracklist for Berryz Koubou’s Single V Clips 5 has been released.

Prior to today we only knew what the main tracklist would be and what the other bonuses would be included, but like all Single V clip releases there are always at least one other alternative version of each PV included and so far it seems like this will be a must have release for fans of Berryz Koubou’s PVs since there is quite a lot of content in this DVD.

Apart from the PVs there’s a combination of Close-up versions, Dance Shot versions, as well as an interestingly titled Dance SoloMix version and Another version for the alternative versions of the PV, which should be very interesting to see since they all seem like great additions.

Along with the usual 15 and 30 second CMs for the singles we also get the Making of for their latest single which was just released today, and while we’ll have to wait for about a week or so to see it it should be interesting to see how the PV was made since the location is somewhat different from the usual green screen and studio PVs they have released lately.

Overall this release is packed with many PVs, CMs and even a Making Of so I highly recommend everyone who is interested to get a copy since it’s a perfect way to own all of the PVs without having to buy each Single V separately.

The release date is set for 8/17.

“Ribbon~reborn~” Stage Play Title Has Changed To “Ribbon~Inochi no Audition~”

10 08 2011

The title for the stage play featuring various H!P artists has been changed from Ribbon~reborn~ to Ribbon~Inochi no Audition~.

I’m not sure if it’s Ribbon~Inochi no Audition~ or Reborn~Inochi no Audition~ since they used Katakana for the first part, but the new title for the play means something along the lines of Reborn~Life Audition~ which matches the description that was released when the play announced, and while we might not have that many details apart from what we already know it seems like this play will be very interesting.

As mentioned before this will be the first play for most of the 9th generation, although it will be fun to see who stands out since they all seem like they could do really well in the play. Apart from that Riho’s injury will most likely be healed by the time the play starts, but we’ll have to wait and see what the result for Mitsui’s checkup will be since her previous check up resulted in a longer healing time.

For now the play is starting to shape up to be a very interesting event since it includes quite a lot of H!P and UFA members, but I hope we get to see some previews or at least a promotion flier by next month.

The play will run from 10/8 ~ 17.

Buono! To Attend A Cancer Awareness Event Titled “HelloSmile Live Fall 2011”

10 08 2011

According to the official H!P site Buono will attend an event by a cervical cancer awareness project titled HelloSmile Live Fall 2011.

The special guest for the event will be: LOVE.

Artists appearing at events to raise awareness for a certain disease isn’t unheard of in H!P since there are countless appearances done by members at these kind of events during the past few years, the most recent of them being this one where Buono will appear to raise awareness for cervical cancer, and while it might be somewhat out of the ordinary it’s still a very nice way of showing everyone that they want to help out those with this disease.

For now it appears that they will probably perform at this event, although I’m not too sure about the details since there isn’t much on the site but I will update with more once I find out.

Tickets for the event are already on sale so I encourage fans who can to go to the event to help support both Buono and those who have this condition.

The event will take place on 11/12 at Laforet Museum in Roppongi, Tokyo at 15:00 / 18:30.

I wanted to do a quick post to thank everyone for supporting the site during the past few years and making the 2,000,000 milestone possible since it’s an honor to provide H!P fans around the world news about the many amazing groups that Hello! Project has.

It’s a somewhat long post (longer than I planned) so please check it out after the break!

The setlist for Hello! Project Eggs 2011 Happyou Kai ~September no Nama Tamago Show!~ has been released on the official site.

As mentioned on the site the participants might be changed based on the Momusu or S/mileage auditions, so even though Akari or Karin are listed as part of the setlist that doesn’t mean that they haven’t passed either audition since they will simply update the setlist before the show.

That being said only the first three songs have the performers listed, which is usually the way the setlists for the H!P Egg shows are revealed since they show off all of the songs at the beginning and reveal the singers a few at the time. This is the perfect way for fans to know what to expect while still looking forward to the event since there are quite a few combinations we could see for the songs.

The first song hasn’t been revealed as well, which is usually what happens since they want to keep the opening performance a secret, but we should find out what it is in the next few weeks, although the rest of the setlist looks perfect since it features a combination of songs from Morning Musume, Berryz, C-ute, Mini Moni, Tanpopo, among many others giving us a perfect combination of songs to enjoy.

I will update this post with the performers as they are revealed, but apart from that the setlist does look like a great way for fans to enjoy the show since it features a variety of H!P songs so I hope fans who are interested in attending do so since it will be a fun performance to see.

The event will take place on 9/11 at 15:30 and 18:30.

Mobekimasu Official H!P Sites Updated

10 08 2011

All of Mobekimau groups now have their official website within H!P’s official site with a new design for each one.

As some might remember, Morning Musume were the first group to have their own official site colored in Yellow a while back with a totally new design and an easier pattern, and now I’m happy to see that all of the groups have followed them since it’s really a nice way to represent each group and artist, and it gives fans a chance to check out the so-called “official websites”.

All of the sites follow a similar pattern which consists of the group’s name  (or artist’s name in Mano’s case) in a specified color and pattern with a group profile picture of their latest single/album with a link to each member’s profile next to their image, along with useful information such as the PV of their latest single with release date for it and single’s promotional photo, as well as the categories featured on the top and links to all of the members blogs and official Ustream, Twitter, etc… pages.

Morning Musume

Momusu’s site has been updated a while back and we got to see the yellow design it got with a very original font used for the name and a bright yellow and orange color for the top bar and the “Blog” and “News” categories, and even though we pretty much got used to this design, it’s still nice to see that they went with such a bright color for the flag ship of H!P, specially since it matches their current gold outfits.

Berryz Koubou

Berryz’s site is really one of the best of all since the combination of the rainbow-colored logo for the group on the top of the page and the cute pink and purple theme from the artist’s profile picture and the purple bar and member’s bubbles result in a very cute and cuddly theme. Even though Berryz still have the PV for Ai no Dangan up, it should be soon updated so that everything will fit, and a funny notice is that Captain being the only one with a blog is the only one shown in the “Blog” section, but hopefully we’ll get to see all of the members open official blogs soon so that this section is more lively.

C-ute’s site has a dominant blue color with their official logo on top in the same color and everything from the top banner to the member’s bubbles is also blue, so it’s quite cute to see that they went for a one-colored theme since blue suits them really well. They still have their Momoiro Sparkling profile picture up which should be changed soon, and it’s nice to see that the “Blog” section is active.

Mano Erina

Mano’s logo and color have always been red, so it’s nice to see that they went with her official logo that she uses everywhere and matched it with red and pink bars for the unique “Blog&Twitter” section she has as well as the “News”, and even though her page might look a little plain compared to the group ones, it’s still nice since it features all information concerning her last single from the profile picture to the info on the right.

S/mileage’s site is the most colorful of them all probably thanks to their outfits in the profile picture that really stand out, as well as the unique logo they have and have always used. They have a dominant color of pink similar to the one Berryz have, and since they are one of the most active groups in Twitter and on their blogs, this section is really active and should please every fan who stops by.

Overall, I’m really happy to see that each group and artist got their own official site within H!P’s big website since it’s clearer and way easier to browse through, along with a nice new setting for each group and many inportant info featured in an original way on he front page.

Hopefully everyone can check them out and I’m hoping that Buono! gets a new setting for their page too since it’d be somewhat sad to see that the others have new updated pages while Buono! still have the old design.
