Morning Musume – “Kono Chikyuu no Heiwa wo Honki de Negatterun da yo!” Full Radio Preview Released

3 08 2011

A full radio preview for one of the two a-sides of Morning Musume’s 47th single titled Kono Chikyuu no Heiwa wo Honki de Negatteurn da yo! has been released.

We heard a concert preview a few weeks ago so hearing a clear radio rip of the song is perfect since we can check out how the recorded version will sound, and I’m glad to see that for the most part the song sounds even better than the concert preview since the beat is catchy with a distinct funky style during a few lines.

The distinct style seems to stand out more during the lines but the chorus has a different style since it seems to focus more on the cute and upbeat sound, but apart from the instrumental the members all sound perfect, especially during the chorus which has a cute and distinctive Momusu styled sound to it.

For now I’m not exactly sure what members have solo lines but I am sure that Reina and Ai have the “Love & Peace” lines after the chorus and that Gaki has a really important line after a few lines from each of the members, but I also think I heard Sayu a few times as well as Riho (once the PV is released we will know for sure).

This song is flawless since the style ranges from the funky instrumental during the start of the song as well as the cute and upbeat ballad-ish sound during the chorus so I’m really happy once I heard it since it’s really catchy. I don’t really care that much about solo lines since in the end every member did sing, but I hope that there were a few lines from Mizuki, Kanon, and Erina I didn’t catch.

For now this single sounds perfect but we still have another song to look forward to, so it will be interesting to see just what Tsunku thought of. The song will most likely be taken down really soon so please check it out before that happens, but I will update with any other previews I find.

The release date is set for 9/14.

New Profile Pictures For Morning Musume’s “Kono Chikyuu no Heiwa wo Honki de Negatterun da yo!” Released

3 08 2011

The official H!P page has updated the site with new profile pictures for Morning Musume’s 47th single titled Kono Chikyuu no Heiwa wo Honki de Negatterun da yo! / Kare to Issho ni Omise ga Shitai.

The group profile pic was released a while ago but it’s great that we finally get to see the new individual pics since they give us a chance to check out the outfits for each member in better detail, and for the most part I am very impressed with how they look, even though they might have some kind of a resemblance to other past outfits, such as The Peace! or Onna ni Sachi Are (although gold colored outfits are nothing new since all groups have used them at some time or another).

The post is long so please check it out after the break!

Berryz Koubou “Single V Clips 5” DVD Cover Released

3 08 2011

The DVD cover for Berryz Koubou’s Single V Clips 5 has been released.

Like most Single V Clips releases, the covers usually feature a shot of the members wearing the outfits of their most recent single which in this case is Aa, Yo ga Akeru, and despite the cover being a bit too simple it’s still looks amazing.

Most of you might think it looks familiar and that’s most likely because it is since it’s basically a slightly different version of the regular cover for the single, although most of the members are in the same position and the image is taken farther away to fill the front, and while they might have used the exact same scene with little difference between the regular cover it is still a great way to reference the single.

Regular cover of Aa, Yo ga Akeru

The cover looks amazing since the extra space at the top makes the title blend in well (it could have looked better a bit lower), and while only Miya, Chii, and Risako seem to have changed poses it’s still a great way to reference the single since fans can check out the scene from a slightly different angle.

For now we don’t have a complete tracklist but we will most likely get it during the next week, but we know for sure that all of the PVs released after their 4th Single V Clips DVD will be included, although I look forward to finding what alternate versions of which PVs we will also see.

Hopefully everyone reserved a copy since this is a must have for any fans interested in owning a copy of each PV from Otakebi Boy to Aa, Yo ga Akeru.

The release date is set for 8/17.

Sayashi Riho 1st Solo DVD Titled “Sayashi Riho ~Greeting~”

3 08 2011

Sayashi Riho’s 1st solo DVD is titled Sayashi Riho ~Greeting~ and its cover has been released.

I have to say that I’m particularly happy with the title of her first solo DVD since for first solo releases, the PBs usually are named after the idol’s full name while the DVDs have her first name only or a cute nickname, but in Riho’s case, she follows the rule for the PB’s title but not for the DVD since instead we get a very nice title that is somewhat ressemblant to the other 9th generation members e-Hello! releases.

Since the title is somewhat similar to the other Kyuukie’s e-Hello! that all had the word Greeting in them, it’s nice to see that they made Riho follow the same pattern since they will all have a similar release as their first solo release instead of Riho having a very special title that sets her apart from her friends since she already is the first one to have a solo PB while the others don’t have yet but should follow soon.

As for the DVD cover, it’s really small since it has been released on H!P’s site, but we can clearly see it since it’s only a big and bright picture of Riho similing in a very adorable and cute way while wearing a red and white top and holding her hair back in a ponytail, and even though it might seem simple, I’m really impressed by this picture since it shows Riho’s natural charm and beauty, and the greenery alongside the sunshine in the background really make this cover eye-catching and attractive.

Some might not notice it at first (I didn’t either), but the title is written on the left of Riho’s picture in vertical and in soft pink, and since it’s really light pink and the font isn’t too daring, we can’t clearly see it but it seems to be written in a very soft and curvy font that adds a nice touch to the cover, along with her name on the left bottom of the cover also in pink.

Overall, I’m really impressed with how this cover looks since Riho is really a natural beauty and made this cover simply amazing, and I’m glad that they went for this kind of soft smiling close-up shots matched with a nice font for the DVD’s name.

Hopefully everyone can reserve a copy soon since I’m sure it will be a memorable release for all of her fans.

The release date is set for 8/31.

Bekimasu – “Makeruna Wasshoi!” CD Details Released

3 08 2011

Details concerning Bekimasu’s song titled Makeruna Wasshoi! have been released.

The CD for Berryz Koubou, C-ute, Mano Erina and S/mileage’s song Makeruna Wasshoi! will be sold this weekend and the following one at H!P 2011 Summer concert tour and is until now only available to purchase there. It will only contain the main song which we got a concert rip a few weeks ago, along with the instrumental of the song and will be available for 800 Yen only.

Along with the information, the CD cover’s out too, and It really looks as if it has been done in 5 minutes or so because of the very poor montage of all of the girls from the groups and the randomly thrown letters forming the title of the song in blue between the members that are all jumping against a yellow background, but this is pretty much acceptable judging from it not being an official release and just a collaboration song for these groups.

Even though I didn’t even expect them to release this song into a CD, I’m actually happy that they did so even if the cover isn’t too attractive since I really liked the song when we heard the preview of it, and hopefully many other fans also loved it and would like to provide themselves with a copy.

Overall, I think they really did well with putting this song into a CD that will also feature it’s instrumental since it will allow any fan who liked the song to have his own copy, and even though I somewhat dislike the cover, it’s still a nice release for anyone to enjoy.

The CD will be sold at this weekend and the next’s H!P Summer 2011 concert tour.

Morning Musume’s 12th Album Titled “12 Kakusan Kibou!”

3 08 2011

The title for Morning Musume’s 12th album has been revealed to be 12 Kakusan Kibou! (Eng: 12 Spread Hope!).

At first glance I really like how the title sounds since it has an inspirational sound to it and while it might not follow the theme of out-of-the-ordinary titles with puns that we are used to seeing like 10 MY ME, it is still a great title for the release since it seems like a nice message to everyone in Japan (although the “12” sounds a bit out of place).

We haven’t seen many references to what we can expect to see from this album so for now we don’t know what to expect, but they have had impressive themes for their past releases, like the edgier and more youthful sound in 10 MY ME or the fantasy themed Fantasy! Juuichi so I am really looking forward to finding out what kind of outfits or songs this album could have since the title doesn’t give us that many hints.

We still have to wait for an official confirmation from H!P about the title, but for now the title sounds pretty good due to its inspirational meaning, although hopefully the outfits or theme of the album fit the meaning a bit more.

The release date is set for 10/12.

Sony Music Shop

EDIT: It seems that there is a pun in the title:

12 = じゅうに = じゆうに = 自由に
(12) 拡散希望! = 自由に拡散希望!

12=Juuni=Jiyuuni= Jiyuu ni
(12) Kakusan Kibou = Jyuu ni Kakusan Kibou

It seems that the twelve (Juuni) can be read as Jiyuu ni (freely), making the title Jiyuu ni Kakusan Kibou! or in other words Spread Hope Freely!, which continues the long and interesting trend of creative puns in album titles.

Thanks to Celedam @ Jplop for the explanation, and to lovemusic for posting the Kanji!
