The tracklist for Morning Musume’s Concert Tour 2011 Spring New Genesis Fantasy DX ~Welcome 9th Generation Members DVD has been released.
Like most concerts, the setlist we saw at the beginning of the tour is for the most part the tracklist for the DVD, but there are always a few changes that were made and this DVD is no exception since a few songs were not included, specifically Seishun Collection and Dekkai Uchuu ni Ai ga Aru.
Dekkai Uchuu ni Ai ga Aru was replaced by Only you, which makes sense since Only you was added sometime during the tour to the encore but I can’t really understand why they would not include Seishun Collection since there’s no song replacing it and they simply skipped from Resonant Blue to Onna no Otoko no Lullaby Game, but there was most likely some kind of change to the setlist or they simply decided to not use it for the DVD.
Despite that the tracklist still looks as good as it did when we first saw it so I encourage fans to pick up a copy of the DVD since it’s the perfect way to enjoy Fukumura Mizuki, Ikuta Erina, Sayashi Riho, and Suzuki Kanon’s first concert tour as Momusu members.
The release date is set for 7/27.

I am really excited for this concert. Sayumi and Erina doing Rainbow Pink? I’m not sure how well Erina will pull off being over the top cute, since she is still a little awkward. Moonlight night is going to be incredible. And I can’t wait to see Suki na Senpai. It’s one of my favorite Momusu songs, and it works so well for the 9th gen.
I really hate how there’s hardly any MM its more like the group being broken into pieces even more than they already were. I wish they’d have a tour like the Single Daizenshuu one again. That was the last time it felt like an actual Morning Musume tour rather than just a few girls. And in the past I admit they’ve done the whole small unit thingy or a girl getting a solo song performance but never quite like they have since the single daizenshuu tour and never like this. This time it really feels like its not morning musume but then again that probably has something to do with Ai having 90 percent of the vocal in most of the songs. I know Reina gets a lot of lines but Ai-chan gets an overwhelming amount in comparison. Its like for every line Reina gets Ai gets 5 of them. They really shouldn’t be giving her older members lines she has enough vocal to work with on her own. I can’t wait till she’s fucking out of the group already.
Well, the one bright side of Ai leaving is that Tsunku will be forced to distribute lines more equally among the members.
I can envision more group songs as opposed to Ai-Reina duets, especially after 10th gen arrives.
