Niigaki Risa Updates Blog With New Header

18 06 2011

Niigaki Risa updates her blog with a new header.

Not only has the header been changed, the background of the site has also been changed to match the header. The new header has a real pretty and mature style compared to the last one. It also has less pictures but the new header works just fine since the last one was outdated. (It had balloons of the number 21, which I believe represented her age at the time the blog was opened.)

The title also changed to “It was happy?” According to Gaki after completing live performances Gaki likes to say the phrase in Japanese and she also wants to live by this phrase so she renamed her blog.

I really like the new header and blog background and it really fits her. Please support Gaki and visit her blog!

From what I understand Gaki always says “楽しかった?” (which reads “Tanoshii katta?” and means “Did you have fun?”) so I guess she wanted to add that into her banner but she used an online translator and it came out like that XD

Despite that I love the banner since it’s full of Gaki’s cuteness and energy (and not so good English) ^_^

The 21 number doesn’t represent her age actually. It’s actually her number in H!P. 2 in japanese is ni, while 1 is ichi, together they can be read as nii, as in niigaki, thus 21.

I’m pretty sure the balloons represented her age at the time she opened her blog since her blog was opened in late April last year, and her birthday is in October, meaning that she was 21 at the time ^_^;;;

Yeah maybe it represents that too, but my point is that I don’t think the 21 is outdated since it is also her H!P number. :)
