Berryz Koubou – “Omoide” Radio Preview Released

3 06 2011

A preview for the c/w of Berryz Koubou’s 26th single titled Omoide (Eng: Memories) has been released.

The single release is next week so I’m glad to see that we finally get a chance to listen to the b-side, and for the most part I love the song since it has a great video game intro at the beginning followed by ballad vocals with a slightly upbeat instrumental, and despite the preview being short I love every second of the song since it fits perfectly with the a-side.

From what I can tell every member gets a line, but since the song isn’t full that probably means that every member gets about two lines at least, which is great news. Apart from the shortness the song doesn’t have that many live instruments since it’s mainly synthesizer which some fans might not like, but apart from that the song is an amazing b-side that complements the song well.

Someone starts talking at 1:40 so the preview is even shorter (I’m not sure if it’s Kumai), but the song plays in the background so we should get a good idea of what it sounds like, but I hope many fans can listen to it before it’s taken down since UFA has been acting really fast with Youtube uploads.

Hopefully everyone can reserve their copy of the single if they haven’t done so already since this single looks like an amazing release.

The release date is set for 6/8.

This song just went from excellent to perfect. This coupling is awesome, love the intro.

Everything about this release is great in my opinion, the PV, the covers, the two songs,.. Berryz really knocked it out of the park this time.

Ai no Dangan seems more of a b-side than this song does to me. o-o
I like the b-side better than the a-side… Oh well, Ai no Dangan is really catchy and with two good songs, it should sell well.

I’m honestly getting the feeling that H!P is doing a lot of song recycling.
It’s a really great song, but try comparing it to Fantasy ga Hajimaru from MM’s album…
