Shuukan Yoro! Vol 87

15 04 2011

Site News: Great news! As most of you might already be aware the site has already passed the 1,500,000 mark since I did a small post for it yesterday but I wanted to thank everyone for their support once again since this was a great milestone for the site, so thank you very much!

That being said I did finish updating the Upcoming Releases page so all links for releases should be up to date, and this time I will try and update the page more regularly since I will have a bit more time to do so once I finish up school for the semester in a few more weeks.

The Profile section is a bit out of date as well since the Eggs listed in that section are a bit out of date (half of the members in H!P Eggs in that section aren’t part of UFA anymore), so I will update it today and tomorrow.

Hopefully I have everything ready by the end of this weekend since I will be somewhat busy with school for the next few weeks due to the semester being almost over, and sorry once again for the late updates but please look forward to the updates for the profile section as well as a few posts which will be up in a few hours.

Polls: The winner for this poll was Niigaki Risa with 474 votes (47%), congratulations Gaki! Okai Chisato came in second with 350 votes (35%), and Kumai Yurina came in third with 184 votes (18%).

There was a total of 1,008 votes for this poll.

Congratulations Gaki!

Gaki seemed to be the one that would win from the start and she did (she did get first place in the yearly results after all), although I was surprised to see that she managed to get almost half of the votes, although most of the rest of the votes were for Chisa which is not that big of a surprise since she is becoming a very popular member thanks to her great dancing and vocal talents, as well as her Youtube dance cover videos.

Kumai only got about 20% which is really low compared to Gaki and Chisa, although I hope that she can get a lot more votes next time since she is the main vocal in most of Berryz recent singles as well as a great member with a great personality.

So congratulations Gaki on winning this weeks poll and good luck to Chisa and Kumai in their next polls!

Next week’s poll will feature Momusu’s 9th generation: Fukumura Mizuki, Ikuta Erina, Sayashi Riho, and Suzuki Kanon, and while I have already done this poll a while back it will be very interesting to see if Riho is once again the winner or if there are any changes due to the release of the single, the PV, or of the Oricon ratings.

So hopefully everyone can vote so we can see if there are any changes since it has been a while since the members joined and everyone should have a pretty good idea of what their personalities are like.

Just a reminder for those who don’t vote: If you do have a chance please vote since it only takes two clicks and you help your favorite member appear as member of the week!

To make it easier for fans I will provide the direct link to the poll HERE.

Please vote!

Shuukan Yoro: It’s the 3rd day of Tokunaga Chinami’s week about “Ecology”.

Today’s theme is “things to do to fight back against global warming” and we get a chance to see some interesting ways that we can conserve the environment, such as using personal chopsticks, a water bottle, or collecting bottle caps.

After Chii mentions some ways she helps we get a chance to hear from all of the other members in ways they help as well and it is interesting to see that they also help out in some way, which should help Berryz fans to also conserve energy by following their example.

Apart from each member mentioning ways they help out we also get to find out a few interesting facts about simple things that can drastically reduce harmful materials in the environment, such as reducing our shower time or lowering the AC.

The episode is full of info so I encourage all fans to check it out since it is a really interesting way of finding out about global warming:
