2011 Hello! Project Shougatsu Live BOOK “Hello! Project ~Kangei Shinsen Matsuri~” Cover Released

6 04 2011

The cover for Hello! Project’s 2011 Hello! Project Shougatsu Live BOOK “Hello! Project ~Kangei Shinsen Matsuri~ has been released.

The cover is somewhat different from previous concert PBs mainly due to the fact that instead of a group shot from the concert we instead see a cover featuring separate pictures from each member alongside each other in different outfits, and while I liked the idea it seems to have a few things that stand out.

The thing that does seem to be more out of place than anything are the 9th generation members since they appear at the bottom right of the cover, and while I appreciate them being on the cover I can’t help but think that they could have used some better pictures since the first lineup picture at the concert seems to contrast too much with the studio pictures of each member in different outfits (although they most likely didn’t have studio pictures of each member at the time).

Apart from that I really liked the way the colors for the cover looked since there are two separate colors in the background: pink and orange, and while it seems to be a bit too simple I liked the way that the colors on the title match the background.

I also liked how each member is wearing a different outfit since it makes each one of them stand out in their own way instead of having similar outfits from their recent singles as well as adding some extra color to the cover.

Overall the cover seems to have been made pretty fast since it seems that it’s only a collage of different studio pictures of each member along with a pink and orange title and a white “Hello! Project 2011 WINTER” (or “WINCER”) title at the top, but I have to admit that I liked it since it’s pretty colorful and it gives each member a chance to stand out in their own way.

Hopefully everyone can pick up a copy of the PB when it is released.

The release date is set for 4/8.
