Shuukan Yoro! Vol 83

18 03 2011

Site News: Most of H!P’s releases and events have been affected by the recent earthquake in Japan so a few days ago ladylibra92 made a post about the releases that have been postponed and I posted it at the top of the page so that fans could check out the list and be up to date about what releases are postponed or moved.

Since there haven’t been that many updates about that I plan on removing the post from the top of the page tomorrow afternoon, but fans can check out the post anytime by clicking here:

H!P Events Postponed Or Possibly Cancelled Due To Earthquake

Apart from that I have added a widget on the right bar with a link to the form on the Red Cross site where you can donate for the cause (the form has nothing to do with this site, it’s just a link to the general form). The link is secure (HTTPS) but if you would like to donate on iTunes or from the Red Cross site on your own then please do so.

To everyone who has already donated, thank you very much, to those who haven’t, please consider donating to help those in Japan.

That being said I did finally updated most of the site!

The Discography page was my main concern and so far I have updated almost every page on that section (S/mileage is the only one with about 4 pages left to do) and I also added a section for Kikkawa Yuu so that fans can check out her growing Discography once her debut starts.

I will update the Birthday section tonight and finish updating the Discography section as well, so most of the site will be complete, but I have left something near the end of my to do list, the Upcoming Releases section, for various reasons.

The most obvious of them is that most of the releases for this month have been delayed with even more possibly being affected next month, so I have no idea what to add for the date, but I have thought of simply moving the releases to the end of the page and removing the dates while updating the rest.

For now I don’t have a clear idea of how to update that page but I will come up with something by tomorrow, but for now most of the Discography page is updated and almost every single release with a title has their own page with the most up to date information. I will finish S/mileage’s section tonight and after that the section should be up to date, so please check it out if you wanted to find out a bit more about a single or album for an artist since the info is organized in that section.

Apart from that I will go over the Profile section tomorrow and update it as well since some of the images (from the 9th gen and Kikka) haven’t been updated and some profiles also have to be moved (the Eggs that graduated and Kikka becoming a soloist), so all of that should be done by tomorrow.

Hopefully everyone likes the pages that I added on the Discography section and once again sorry for the many months of delay but they are finally done and I plan on updating them at least once a week with any info that might have been released.

Polls: The winner for this poll was Mitsui Aika with 437 votes (45%), congratulations Mitsui! Kumai Yurina came in second place with 323 votes (34%), and Sudou Maasa came in third with 204 votes (21%).

There was a total of 964 votes for this poll.

Congratulations Mitsui!

As you might know Momusu’s 45th single has been postponed, so I will have to postpone the planned 9th generation poll for a week after the single is released (which will hopefully not be that long), so instead of the planned 4/1 poll date I will wait until H!P confirms the new date.

That being said the poll results were a bit surprising since Kumai seemed to be the member with the biggest fanbase due to her amount of appearances among the main singers in Berryz singles, but surprisingly Mitsui got a bit more than 100 votes more than her getting almost half of the total votes.

I was relieved to see that the votes were divided almost equally with all members getting more than 20%, and while Maasa got last place I am interested in seeing how she will do against the other members in next week’s poll since she did pretty good this week.

Hopefully Kuma and Maasa get a chance to win in their next polls but for now congratulations Mitsui!

The next poll will feature Sudou Maasa, Natsuyaki Miyabi, and Yajima Maimi, and as you might have noticed this is Sudou’s second consecutive week which is statistically possible since the members for each poll are chosen at random (basically I chose at random last time and she was last, and I chose at random again this week and she was first), so despite her being on two weeks please vote for your favorite member from the list for next weeks “Member of the Week”!

Just a reminder for those who don’t vote: If you do have a chance please vote since it only takes two clicks and you help your favorite member appear as member of the week!

Next poll will feature Sudou Maasa, Natsuyaki Miyabi, and Yajima Maimi so everyone please vote for the next H!P member of the week!

To make it easier for fans I will provide the direct link to the poll HERE.

Please vote!

Shuukan Yoro: It’s the 4th day of Shimizu Saki’s week about “Yakiniku”.

Today’s class will be outside and according to Captain we are going to be eating Yakiniku along with Nakamura-san (who seems to be a comedian or singer, I’m not sure) and among the meat that he will cook we will see salted toungue and Kalbi.

Even though most of the jokes are somewhat hard to understand since they are in Japanese the episode was pretty fun to see since we got to see each member try out the dishes as well as join in on the jokes.

The episode is somewhat short but we get to see two dishes and even Mano at the end of the episode try out one of them.

Hopefully everyone checks it out since it is a great episode:

It’s great to see that Aika is finally getting some attention and my heartfelt sympathies go out to Japan. :(
