S/mileage’s 4th Single Announced

25 11 2010

S/mileage’s 4th single, currently untitled, has been announced.

There will apparently be five versions of the single: Regular, Limited A (+DVD), Limited B (+DVD), Limited C (+DVD), and Limited D. According to (what I can tell from) the description on the site there will be different track lists for the Limited editions (although it is tentative).

I’m glad to see that we are getting the confirmation and date for the next S/mileage single since they have had great promotion for their singles so far, and since they usually have a different sound with each release it will be interesting to see what new song we get to hear from them.

I’m surprised to see that they are releasing so many versions of the single, but it’s great to see that they are trying it out with S/mileage (after trying it out on Berryz Koubou) since they have been receiving great promotion for their singles so far, and the mention of different track lists for the Limited editions does sound interesting (even though it isn’t confirmed by the official H!P site yet).

We will most likely get a title first during the next few weeks, but hopefully fans are already reserving their copy of their next single since it does seem like this will be a very interesting release.

The release date is set for 2/9.

Hello! Channel Vol.3 Mook Announced

25 11 2010

Hello! Project’s mook Hello! Channel Vol.3 has been announced.

I’m somewhat surprised to see that the third volume has already been announced since the Hello! Channel mooks regularly take a few months to be released, but most likely it will be a special holiday edition since it will be released 2 days after Christmas and a few days before New Years.

For now there isn’t much info about it since it has just been announced, but we should see a cover being released during the next few weeks along with a few hints at what articles will be available, so hopefully it features many great articles featuring challenges and interaction between the H!P members.

Hopefully fans reserve their copy since it looks like it will be a great holiday release (although we haven’t had a chance to find out if it will be holiday themed).

The release date is set for 12/27.

Mano Erina’s 9th Single Announced

25 11 2010

Mano Erina’s 9th single, currently untitled, has been announced. There will be three versions: Regular, Limited A (+DVD), and Limited B.

I’m glad to see that Mano’s 9th single is already being announced since it has been a while since the release of Genkimono de Ikou!, and since it will be released in about two months it does seem to be a somewhat surprising single.

For now there isn’t many clues as to what to expect, but according to some fans Mano hinted that there might be a new song at her New Years Dinner event, which might refer to a performance of this single, although for now we don’t really have much verified info.

Hopefully we get to see a title or a preview sometime during the next few weeks, but for now I am very excited about the release since Mano has released some great songs lately.

The release date for the single is set for 1/26, the release date for the Single V is 2/2.

Berryz Koubou’s Alo Hello! 2 Blu-ray Annnounced

25 11 2010

A blu-ray edition for Berryz Koubou’s Alo Hello! 2 has been announced.

Like most Blu-ray announcements they are done at least a few weeks after the release of the DVD, which is great for fans since it gives them a chance to buy the DVD in higher definition although it does mean that fans will have to buy the blu-ray for a bump in quality.

According to some fans the DVD wasn’t exactly the most entertaining since it basically had the same concept as the Momusu Alo Hello! 4 DVD, but it does seem like a great way for fans who haven’t had a chance to see it to do so while supporting Berryz Koubou.

Hopefully fans who haven’t bought the DVD and who liked the previews decide to buy the blu-ray since it does seem like a great way to enjoy the Alo Hello.

The release date is set for 2/16.
