C-ute – “Aitai Lonely Christmas” PV Preview Released

11 11 2010

A PV preview for C-ute’s 14th single titled Aitai Lonely Christmas has been released.

I’m glad to see that the preview has been released since it has been a while since we last got a chance to hear about the PV (in a Maimi post on the C-ute blog), and despite it being just a 30-second preview it does give us a good look at the theme and the shots we can expect to see.

The preview features many scenes, among them are a shot of C-ute in a white sled, a solo close-up of Airi singing in front of Christmas trees in snow, and some shots of the members in a house where Maimi, Nakky, and Airi act sad, Mai knits, and Chisa looks at a teddy bear.

For the most part I am very impressed with the previews since they all fit in with the theme and mood of the song, and even though the shot at the end of the preview of the house could have looked better (although it did look very impressive) I did like how everyone looked and how the setting fit in.

The preview is only 30-seconds long (the video below features the same preview twice for some reason) but it does give us a great look at the PV, and I have to admit that I love what I have seen so far since the white Christmas setting and the separate rooms for each member in the house fit in with the Christmas ballad sound of the song.

Hopefully fans reserve their copy of the single soon since it looks like a great release for C-ute.

The release date is set for 12/1.

Morning Musume – “Fantasy! Juuichi” Covers Released

11 11 2010

Left: Limited, Right: Regular

The covers for Morning Musume’s 11th album titled Fantasy! Juuichi have been released.

For the most part the covers look amazing to say the least since they seem to each feature a very artistic theme consisting of unique dresses and outfits along with dark and light backgrounds, and even though they are a bit small they look very impressing.

The Regular cover features Morning Musume with princess like costumes while posing as a group next to a brown background and building, and despite being a bit too small to tell how the outfits look I love the way they look along with the “storybook” background.

The Limited cover features Momusu once again as a group posing against a black background and what appears to be an open bookcase, and I have to admit that this is my favorite cover since it features a dark but elegant theme with an interesting background.

I will wait until bigger covers are released, but I am very impressed from what I have seen so far since they each feature a unique and interesting theme, but hopefully higher quality covers are released soon since I would love to see theme in better detail.

The release date is set for 12/1.

“Hello Hello! ~Memories~ Morning Musume Kamei Eri, Michishige Sayumi, Tanaka Reina” PB Cover Preview Released

11 11 2010

The cover for the Momusu 6th generation PB titled Hello Hello! ~Memories~ Morning Musume Kamei Eri, Michishige Sayumi, Tanaka Reina has been released.

Even though the cover is very (very) small it does give us a good chance to check out the theme for the cover, and I have to admit that I really like what I can see so far since it features a calm scene of Sayu, Kamei, and Reina sitting in front of a beach sunset.

As the title suggests the PB will be full of memories for both the fans and the Rokkies since they will go back to the place of their first photo shoot together, and even though it is somewhat sad knowing that this will be the last Rokkie release I do look forward to seeing the many pictures included.

Since the cover is so small I will wait a bit until bigger covers are released to comment on the outfits, scene and poses, so hopefully we get to see them soon since I really like what I can see so far.

The release date is set for 11/12.

C-ute – “Music V Tokushuu 3 ~Cutie Visual~” DVD Cover Released

11 11 2010

The cover for C-ute’s Music V Tokushuu 3 ~Cutie Visual~ DVD has been released.

The cover features C-ute standing in front of what appears to be a festive red wood wall in their outfits, and even though it doesn’t look that festive I have to admit that I really like how it looks since it shows off all of the members in a “holiday card” type theme while smiling.

I was a bit confused about the background since it doesn’t seem to fit the outfits that much but I am glad that they decided to go for something less flashy and more calm since C-ute stands out a bit more (although  the broom and the staircase seem to be a bit distracting).

The word art they used looks very impressive since it features an ice theme that matches perfectly with the outfits, and although it would have looked a bit better lower I really like the way it complements the winter theme of the cover.

Overall the cover looks calm and very interesting since it features a festive cover for their latest single  Aitai Lonely Christmas, and even though it is a bit simple I love the way that everyone looks.

Hopefully fans can buy a copy of the Music V since it seems like it will be a very interesting release.

The release date is set for 12/8.

S/mileage – “Onna Bakari no Nichiyoubi” Preview Released

11 11 2010

A preview for one of the tracks from S/mileage’s first album titled Onna Bakari no Nichiyoubi has been released.

The song sounds amazing since it has an upbeat rock instrumental along with very catchy vocals, and even though we didn’t get a chance to listen to the entire song (since they stopped at the chorus) I am very impressed with what I have heard so far since it is a great song to include in the album.

For the most part the song seems like a nice change from the ballads that we have listened to so far since it has a great upbeat sound that is sure to please many fans, and despite being a bit repetitive (might be the chorus not the song though) I really like what I heard.

Hopefully S/mileage fans get a chance to buy a copy of the album after listening to the preview since this a great song to include in the album.

The release date is set for 12/8.

11 11 2010

  2. Onaji Jikyuu de Hataraku Tomodachi no Bijin Mama (Wada Ayaka Close-up Ver.)

  4. Onaji Jikyuu de Hataraku Tomodachi no Bijin Mama (Fukuda Kanon Close-up Ver.)
  5. Onaji Jikyuu de Hataraku Tomodachi no Bijin Mama (Ogawa Saki Close-up Ver.)

The Event V cover for S/mileage’s 3rd single titled Onaji Jikyuu de Hataraku no Tomodachi no Bijin Mama has been released.

For the most part the cover is very interesting since it features the background of the Limited C cover along with a group shot of the girls in the blue outfits holding hands, and even though it is a bit simple I like the way it looks since it is a nice and unique way to show off the outfits for fans who buy the Event V.

As for the tracklist it features solo versions of the PV for each member (like most Event Vs) but apart from the close-up solo versions we get to see another shot called Dance shot Ver. Light Blue which is a unique title, although it most likely is just the dance shot featuring the blue outfits.

Overall the Event V looks like a great release for fans since it includes many great versions of the PV along with a unique cover and even though it is just available at events it seems like a great buy for S/mileage fans.

The release date is set for 11/14.

Fujimoto Miki’s Father Has Passed Away

11 11 2010

Fujimoto Miki’s father has passed away on the morning of November 10 due to unknown causes.

Here is a translation of the Sanpso article (translation done by gator_yoong at aramathedidnt):

Singer Fujimoto Miki (25)’s father passed away on the morning of the 10th in a hospital in Hokkaido. The cause of death is unknown. The unexpected news of the death shocked both Fujimoto and her mother.

According to sources, Fujimoto’s mother and father had been living apart, her mother lives in the city.

Fujimoto got married last year on July 11th to comedian Shouji Tomoharu (34). They had their wedding ceremony with just their families on July 3rd at Hokulia in Hawaii. Fujimoto’s father was present and was able to see his daughter in a wedding dress.

Fujimoto is from Hokkaido and auditioned for Morning Musume in 2000, she then moved to Tokyo. She’s active as an actress and singer. She also has a happy private life. Fujimoto will adjust her schedule and head to Hokkaido for the funeral service.

The news is very unexpected to say the least since I didn’t expect to hear about the death of another member of an H!P member’s family so soon after the death of Goto’s mom, but as was mentioned on the Sanspo article the news came as a shock to everyone.

I would like to offer my condolences to the Fujimoto family during these hard times.

For now there aren’t that many details about the cause of death, but we should see more reports being released during the next few days so I will update when they are released.
