Shuukan Yoro! Vol 64

5 11 2010

Site Updates: The site has finally passed the 900,000 mark and is rapidly approaching the 1,000,000 mark, which should be in a few weeks, so thank you to everyone who visits regularly!

I haven’t gotten a chance to work on the site that much since I had to prepare for a placement exam yesterday but I have caught up with many posts I have put aside for a while, and even though I haven’t updated the other sections I plan on doing that during the weekend.

The Links page was put aside for a bit, but I plan on finishing it as soon as possible, along with updating the other sections of the site, and I apologize again for the lack of updating but I will hopefully get everything up to date soon.

As for any new layout decision I have been thinking of taking down the “Next Release Date” widget for a while since it does take quite a bit to update, and since it is usually up for about 2 days before changing I have considered it, although for now I will have to think it over.

For now I will get the sections updated and try and release the Links page by this weekend, so hopefully I can do it soon.

Polls: The winner for this poll was Kamei Eri with 386 votes (44%), congratulations Eri! Takahashi Ai came in second with 284 votes (33%) and Shimizu Saki came in third place with 204 votes (23%).

There was a total of 874 votes for this poll.

Congratulations Eri!

The results for this poll were very surprising for two reasons, the first being that Ai-chan has lost a poll and got second place and the second being that she got about 80 votes more than Captain.

Eri winning was almost guaranteed since most of her votes were in support for her, but I am glad to see that she won since I almost forgot she was going to be the special member for this week, so in the end everything came out well.

Most likely Ai-chan will win in her next poll but I am glad that she and Captain got almost the same votes since it shows how much support Captain is gaining.

Next poll will feature Tokunaga Chinami, Kumai Yurina, and Hagiwara Mai so everyone please vote for the next H!P member of the week!

Just a reminder for those who don’t vote: If you do have a chance please vote since it only takes two clicks and you help your favorite member appear as member of the week!

The next poll will include Berryz Koubou members Tokunaga Chinami and Kumai Yurina, and C-ute member Hagiwara Mai.

To make it easier for fans I will provide the direct link to the poll HERE.

Please vote!

Reviews: I decided to put the review off for a while since school has been very busy (not to mention that I got sick once again and I had to miss a day of school), but since I just took a placement exam I might have some extra time to get it done by next week.

I really want to get all of the reviews done before the holidays so that fans can enjoy them, so I will try and get them done as soon as possible, and since I will have a small break near the end of November (for Thanksgiving) I hope to finish most of them during that period.

I will try and get them done as soon as possible, but for now I will focus on the Buono review I have promised for quite a while since that is one of the main priorities I have now, so hopefully I can finish it by next week.

I will update the Twitter when the review is released so please look forward to it!

Shuukan Yoro: It’s the 5th day of Nakajima Saki’s week about “The greatest men in the world! Den!!”.

Today’s class will feature a test, and like we all know since Nakky is the teacher we will get a chance to see a unique test featuring impressions, which is very interesting since we are used to seeing them take written tests.

The episode is really funny and definitely worth a look since all of the students, including Mano, are asked to do an impression or to guess who the famous person is, so I strongly recommend all C-ute fans and H!P fans alike to watch the episode.

Since this is the last episode in her week I will have to start another one for the next Shuukan Yoro!, so I will ask again if anyone has any suggestions for next week, here is the list of the members that haven’t appeared yet:

  • Kamei Eri
  • Tanaka Reina
  • Shimizu Saki
  • Tokunaga Chinami
  • Sudou Maasa
  • Okai Chisato
  • Hagiwara Mai

So if you have a suggestion please comment below, but meanwhile enjoy Nakky’s final episode:

Morning Musume – “Fantasy! Juuichi” Tracklist Released

5 11 2010

  1. Seishun Collection
  2. Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game
  3. Bravo!
  4. Sungoi My Birthday
  5. Otome Gokoro to Nanto Yara
  6. Ichi Kara Juu Made Aishite Hoshii
  7. Denwa de ne
  8. Fantasy ga Hajimaru
  9. I’m Lucky girl
  10. Itoshiku Kurushii Kono Yoru ni
  11. Ai no Honoo

The tracklist for Morning Musume’s 11th album titled Fantasy! Juuichi has been released.

The tracklist was released on the Neowing site so it hasn’t been officially confirmed, but from what I can tell it seems that we are in for a nice album since there are about nine new songs, apart from the two singles that were released after their 10th album 10 MY ME.

Since we don’t have any previews for now we don’t really know what to expect since the album came out of nowhere after the graduation announcement, but since there are nine new songs I do expect to see at least a few solo songs, hopefully for Jun, Lin, and Kamei.

Overall the titles sound very interesting since they don’t really give out a set theme for the album, but I do look forward to listening to previews of the songs since some, such as Bravo!, Sungoi My Birthday, and I’m Lucky girl sound like great songs.

For now there are no official confirmations of the tracklist but hopefully this one is confirmed since an album titled Fantasy! Juuichi with eleven songs, nine of which are new, sounds like a great release for fans of the group.

The release date is set for 12/1.

Matsuura Aya – “only one” Preview Released

5 11 2010

A preview from Matsuura Aya’s 7th album titled only one has been released.

For the most part the song featured a slow steady ballad sound, and even though it wasn’t as exciting as the other previews I am glad that we get to listen to it since her vocal skills really shine in this track since there aren’t that many instruments in the background.

The song sounds the same throughout so if you listen for at least a minute you get an idea of what the song is about, which is somewhat dissapointing since I would have liked to listen to a slightly different beat during some parts, but since it is a ballad it was expected that it would have a common theme throughout.

Overall the song was a nice addition to the album since it shows off Ayaya’s impressive vocals, and even though the instrumental and beat wasn’t as impressive I liked the way that the song turned out.

The release date is set for 11/24.

Mano Erina – “MORE FRIENDS” Tracklist Released

5 11 2010

  1. Genkimono de Ikou! (Giga Power Mix)
  2. Gomen, Hanashi Yakatta dake
  3. Dare ni mo Iwanaide
  4. Do Re Mi Fa Doushite?
  5. Love & Peace = Paradise
  6. Tomorrow
  7. Ambitious Girls
  8. Datenshi Erii
  9. Arashi no Mae no Candle
  10. Haru no Arashi
  11. Uchi e Kaerou (sad ver.)
  12. Onegai Dakara…

The tracklist for Mano Erina’s 2nd album titled MORE FRIENDS has been released.

For the most part the tracklist features many songs from her singles such as Onegai Dakara… and Love & Peace = Paradise but there are about nine new songs, including the remix for Genkimono de Ikou! and many new songs.

I have to admit that the titles for the songs sound very interesting, such as Do Re Mi Fa Deshou? and Tomorrow, but I am really interested in listening to the remix for Genkimono as well as the sad version of Uchi e Kaerou since the song was already slow before.

Hopefully Mano fans decide to pick up a copy of the album since it does seem like the many songs included will sound impressing, but I also hope we get to listen to a few previews soon since it would give us a chance to check out the theme for the album.

The release date is set for 11/24.
