Shuukan Yoro! Vol 10

23 10 2009

Shuukan Yoro!

Site News: I updated the header for Niigaki’s birthday and I decided to leave it up unti today, and I replaced it with the header I originally had. I will try and work as soon as I can on the new header, hopefully by the next week.

A special mention, Kimagure Princess is releasing next week and the girls are really hard at work promoting the single (they have more than a dozen appearances on TV and radio, plus the tour, and some upcoming Music Fighter and Music Japan performances).

So if you haven’t purchased your Kimagure Princess copy there are links on the side under the “Next Release Date” widget which has links to all of the versions on three sites – HMV, CDJapan, and YesAsia.

This is Koha’s last single and as fans I think it is a great opportunity to show Koha and Momusu that we support them. There is already a lot of response since Limited A and Limited C both have sold out on two sites, but there are still many chances to buy them on YesAsia, which now counts toward the Oricon, so if you can support them please do so!

I would also like to mention that this poll has been, until now, one of the most voted polls I have had with 727 votes, so thanks to everyone who participated!

Continuing the Morning Musume VS Berryz Koubou series we have this week:

CHIIKUMAREINA

Tokunaga Chinami VS Kumai Yurina VS Tanaka Reina

Please vote!

Reviews: Nanchatte Renai review is up! I like how it came out, the pictures are the clearest I have had until now, and overall the review really came out great. It is somewhat long, but it gives you a good idea of what the 4 singles look like completely and what I personally think of the songs and PV’s.

I am working on another review which will hopefully be up today, and since it is coming up soon I might as well reveal what it is about. Recently I made my first purchase from Hello! Store USA, and since I have seen many questions through the forums about the size of items, and how each of them look I decided to include reviews of items I buy from that store.

So what can you expect? Well basically I ordered five things: a phone strap, two photo sets, a visual book, and a tour shirt. I basically took pictures of everything I had and I also added a size comparison to a CD so you can get an idea of what size the items are.

I am finishing up the review and I hope to have it up by today, and if for some reason something comes up (for example, I fall asleep in front of the computer) I will probably have it up by tomorrow, but definitely it will be up by this week, so anyone interested might as well take a look once it is up.

Shuukan Yoro: It’s the 5th day in Michishige Sayumi’s week about trains.

In today’s lesson we learn about the Keikyuu and Sayu goes through the four points that make the Keikyuu the best train. For the most part an informative episode, and it has a cute Sayu exit.

Next week we start with a new teacher, and keeping with the festivities (More specifically Halloween) we will have Sugaya Risako teaching us about the fantasy world.

(For some reason there isn’t an image preview for the video, but the video works normally so it shouldn’t be a problem)

Morning Musume to Appear in “Kusumi Koharu Sotsugyou Special” on Ameba Studio

23 10 2009

Morning Musume 2745

Morning Musume will once again appear on Ameba Studio to promote their new single Kimagure Princess with a special themed show for Kusumi’s graduation.

The “show” will be titled Kusumi Koharu Sotsugyou Special (English: Kusumi Koharu Graduation Special) and will air in two parts, with half the members appearing in one part of the show and the other half appearing one hour later on the same day for the second part.

The first part will feature Takahashi Ai, Niigaki Risa, Kamei Eri, Kusumi Koharu and Jun Jun and will air on 10/28 at 1-2PM (Japan Time, check HERE for JST time), and the second part will feature Michishige Sayumi, Tanaka Reina, Kusumi Koharu, Mitsui Aika and Lin Lin and will also air on 10/28 but at 3-4PM.

It’s great to see that they are really promoting Kusumi’s graduation and hopefully many fans see the special. The show will most likely be somewhat emotional for the girls since it will probably be the last time they appear on Ameba Studio, so it is definitely a must see for Momusu and Kusumi fans.

The special will air on 10/28 on Ameba Studio’s page with the first part at 1-2PM JST and the second part at 3-4PM JST.

C-ute – C-ute Nan Desu! Zen Single Atsumechaimashita! 1 Covers Released

23 10 2009

C-ute - C-ute Nan Desu! Zen Best Of Album Cover Regular 3562C-ute Nan Desu! Zen Best Of Album Limited Cover 4367

(Left – Regular version, Right – Limited version)

The covers for C-ute’s “Best of” album titled C-ute Nan Desu! Zen Single Atsumechaimashita! 1 have been released. The cover features a 5-nin C-ute, although it will probably feature most songs from 6-nin or 7-nin C-ute.

I really like the covers, the Limited cover most of all because of the casual look to it. The regular edition looks really professional, and even though Chisato and Nakki are in the back they look incredible (Saki’s hair looks a lot like Kamei’s). The limited version cover has them all wearing winter or fall season clothes, and for some reason cowboy boots, which looks great on the girls.

Even though Erika isn’t there and I haven’t gotten used to seeing only 5-nin C-ute the covers look really impressing, and hopefully they help convince C-ute fans to buy this album, of course the tracklist will probably help.

The release date is set for 11/18.
