Fukuda Kanon’s Blog Reopened

Fukuda Kanon’s blog has been once again been reopened.

This is great news for fans of Fukuda since we get a chance to see pictures of what she is doing with the group or what she is doing in general (and half of the time we get to see what she had for lunch).

One thing that Fukuda was known for was posting a lot of entries and so far she hasn’t disappointed since she has already posted 12 entries in the 4 days the blog has been opened (about 3-4 entries per day).

It is great to get another chance to see what’s happening in Kanon’s daily life, although I hope she can get a chance to post some news about new singles or recitals for S/mileage’s debut next spring.

Movie Clip Released For Yajima’s Movie “Fuyu no Kaidan”

A movie clip has been released, and in it we can see Yajima Maimi defend Fukuda Kanon from some zombies, and talking with people. Also there is a press event after the movie clip, so if you want to see it go ahead, if not then I suggest you just see the movie clip at the beginning (the clip appears again near the end of the video).

From what I’ve seen the movie looks really good, although in some parts Yajima seemed to be somewhat emotionless (especially during the kick, she just kicked and stared). Fukuda does act well, but she seems to only have the “innocent girl” role, so I don’t expect to see her in action a lot of the time. Here is the clip:

First Member of Minimoni Revealed – Fukuda Kanon

Well the new Minimoni has somewhat been confirmed by Tsunku himself, according to him it will consist of four members and we apparently have the first member, Fukuda Kanon.

I’ll update as more details are revealed, but apparently Tsunku has already decided to bring back Minimoni for sure. Fukuda seems like a good choice, she seems to have a “happy” personality all of the time.

New Egg Unit Named S/mileage

The new Egg Unit which is set to debut and consists of Ogawa Saki, Fukuda Kanon, Wada Ayaka and Maeda Yuuka finally has a name: S/mileage, the name was officially revealed by the Tsunku himself in his blog.

As of right now we only know that, apart from the members names, hopefully we can see a name of a debut single or something along those lines soon.The name is probably a combination of three words: smile, age, and mileage, which is interesting to say the least and it really makes me excited to see what Tsunku could have prepared for us, hopefully we can find out soon.

Good luck to these four girls and let’s hope we get some other information like the title of the debut single soon.

Yuuka And Kanon In Shugo Chara Musical

What do you do if you have a succesful series? Make a musical of course! Yuuka and Kanon are confirmed for the Shugo Chara musical, Ayaka and Akari haven’t but I guess they might have a chance to participate (I mean, they are in the announcement of the musical, it’s pretty much confirmed). Yuuka and Kanon are set for their debut this September in the H!P Egg’s unit, they already are popular among fans (Yuuka because of her debut in High King, and Kanon for her blog), but this will give them a final push into the limelight.

I’ll update with a confirmation of Akari and Ayaka’s participation and information about the dates when they become available.

Shugo Chara Egg To Be With Guardian 4 UPDATE

So, it’s official Shugo Chara Egg is not over! They are being assigned as supporters to Guardian 4 (most likely), that probably means they will probably be backup dancers and provide harmonies when their assigned member is singing. Not much is known right now but I’ll update when I find out more, for now there is still Shugo Chara Egg.

Nakajima is paired with Akari Saho, Kumai is paired with Fukuda Kanon, Mitsui is paired with Ayaka Wada, and Risako is paired with Yuuka Maeda. They put the most popular egg (Yuuka Maeda) with the most popular choice for solo lines in a Berryz Koubou song (Sugaya Risako), hope they don’t get all of the lines though, I would really like to see them get the same number of lines.

The information is pretty much confirmed, but I’ll provide a link with the official confirmation when it becomes available. I can’t wait for the single, it’s going to be a great release, and if they include Shugo Chara Egg in the PV(most likely), then it’s going to be great.

UPDATE 4/02

The official website for this unit has opened up, click on the Guardian 4 logo to got to the official page (I’ll add it to the links on the side too), although not much is there. There is a discography link on the side which might mean they will release at least two singles, plus there are new pictures of the group and each member. If you want to just look at the pictures then go ahead, anyone can easily go through the page (for now, when they add more stuff it will be slightly harder), the only problem would be reading the profiles and links, but overall it is great for looking at member pictures (though there isn’t many).

Yajima Maimi Going Into Acting Too

Following in Takahashi Ai’s acting footsteps, Yajima Maimi is set to star in a lead role in some ghost movie called “Fuyu no Kaidan” (Winter Ghost Story). From the two sites I saw the story on I assume that she is going to be exorcising and battling demons, which sounds really cool. I also found out that Fukuda Kanon is going to be in it too, which is a great way of putting her on par with one of the most popular Eggs, Maeda Yuuki.

The first link is the link to the producers blog with pictures of Yajima Maimi and the production of the movie, there is also some other guys blog that is somehow related to the movie because he put a picture with the cast on it, where Kanon appears, I’ll put it just in case he updates with another picture. Although I’m not 100% sure it’s her because I don’t follow the Hello! Pro Eggs, I think it’s safe to say that she will have at least a minor role in the movie.
