Fujimoto Miki Is Officially Married

It was officially revealed that Fujimoto Miki is now married to longtime boyfriend, Shouji Shinagawa, the couple married in Hawaii this July. First of all, congratulations to the happy couple! It was suspected that Miki was already in Hawaii earlier this July because of this photo on her blog:

The image is dated 7/5, and in it we see Miki posing with a Hawaii cup, the ring she has on is probably the engagement ring. Nevertheless I wish the couple a long marriage, congratulations Mikitty!

Fujimoto Miki In Japan Festa 2009

Fujimoto is set to perform in Japan Festa in Bangkok, which will occur in August (credit to lovemusic @ H!O for the info). The information right now is kind of scarce, all we know is that she will perform sometime in August in Bangkok, and that is pretty much it, hopefully we can get some more info as time passes.

It’s great to see that she is also one of those Elder Club members who is doing something, apart from getting married. Those of you who are Miki fans might consider going to this, mainly because it might not occur again (most likely it will, but you never know). Hopefully she can perform some of her solo songs, or maybe she will get a new single by that time, but all we can do now is guess. Fujimoto Miki To Get Married

Fujimoto and her boyfriend Shouji are to be married, not much is known because I can’t read the Japanese articles, but the headline is that Fujimoto Miki is getting married! But from the shortness of the article I would speculate that much is known either by the news, the only thing I could make out is that Shouji is 33 and that Fujimoto is 24. On March 24th, it was announced that ex-Morning Musume leader Fujimoto Miki (24) and comedian Shouji Tomoharu from comedy duo Shinagawa Shouji will complete their 2-year-long relationship with a wedding in July. Currently they are scheduling the ceremony day and other necessities. Fujimoto’s agency confirmed the wedding news for our publication.

The agency sent us a fax entitled “The Engagement Report”. Within it, Fujimoto explains her joy about her engagement with Shouji, saying, “I’m really happy I met someone who helps me grow, and we really understand and support each other. I would be really happy if you could give us your warm support from now on.”

Fujimoto plans to continue with her career, but will prioritize her family.

Furthermore, Shouji’s agency published his comment. Being obviously very happy, Shouji said, “I’ve been captivated by Miki’s kindness and straightforward personality, so I decided it’s about time to seal this almost 2-year-long relationship with a wedding. From now on, we plan to clasp our hands and work hard towards reaching happiness together.”

Also, neither of the two plan to open a press conference regarding this engagement.
