Tsugunaga Momoko Has The Flu

Tsugunaga Momoko has has been diagnosed with the flu and will not be able to attend the Melon Greeting with Buono on 10/15 or the Berryz Koubou concert this week. She will stay one week resting and she is expected to make a full recovery.

I wasn’t that surprised to hear that Momo got sick since she has a lot of work recently with Berryz and Buono. And even though it is still early to tell, I somewhat expect to hear that other girls got sick too, especially Buono members since they have a lot of work for the next few months.

Three releases today, Maeda Yuki’s “Best Of” album, Momoko’s solo DVD, and C-ute’s stageplay:

Maeda Yuki – Zenkyoku Shuu ~Kenchana~, Maeda Yuki’s “best of” album featuring all of the songs (16 in total) she has released. Even though I am not a fan of Enka I’m glad to see that she is still releasing something after graduating from H!P some months ago.

Since I don’t really listen to her songs I can’t comment on them, but I would recommend it highly to her fans, mostly because it might be one of the few opportunities to get all of her songs in one album (HERE is a link to a video of her promoting her album on Dohhh UP).

Tsugunaga Momoko – momo ok., Tsugunaga Momoko’s solo DVD which was released along with her 4th PB titled “momochiiii”. There was a preview posted on Dohhh UP a while back, and from it I am almost sure that the DVD will be incredibly fun.

Momo has always been one of the most entertaining members of Berryz Koubou so I’m glad to see that she got a solo DVD where we can appreciate more of her unique character.

In the solo DVD she gets to swim, make a sandcastle, make tie-dye shirts, and eat things such as a mango (or a fruit similar to a mango). Of course there are many shots of her wearing a bikini and posing for the camera, and this DVD gives us a chance to see the action behind the scenes.

I would definitely recommend it to everyone, especially Momo fans, mostly because seeing Momo do something in her own unique way is fun. It is also a great addition if you bought the PB because this way you can get to see the story behind the pictures and what she was doing at that time.

C-ute – Gekidan Geki Hello Dai 6 Kai Koen “Atarumo Hakke!?”, a DVD of the stage play with the 6 members of C-ute which features footage from the events from June 17, 2009 to June 21, 2009 at Le Theatre Ginza.

Since I have almost no idea what the stage play was about I won’t comment on it that much, but one thing is important,and that is that it’s one of the last presentations of Umeda with C-ute. So if you are an Umeda fan I would highly recommend it as a great addition to your collection, if not then it’s worth a look if you like plays.

Next release date September 11 with Tokunaga Chinami’s 1st solo PB titled “Chinami”.

Tsugunaga Momoko – “momo ok。” DVD Preview Released

A preview of Momo’s solo DVD titled momo ok。 has been released on Dohhh UP. The preview was great, and we got to see many things Momo did while she shot her PB, most of which are really funny (especially the scene where she tasted a fruit at the greenhouse).

The preview features many interesting segments, for example: swimming, at the beach doing a sandcastle, at a greenhouse, making tie-dye shirts (at least I think it’s a shirt), putting on a band-aid, eating, and more scenes from the Making Of the PB.

If you plan on buying the DVD then this will most likely convince you to buy it, and if not then at least it will entertain you.

The DVD is set for release on 9/9.

H!P Releases August 21

One release today, Tsugunaga Momoko’s 4th solo PB momochiiii:

Tsugunaga Momoko – momochiiii, Momo’s 4th solo PB. The cover features a close-up of Momo while she is holding a white feather against a bright background, and is probably (in my opinion) one of the best PB covers I have seen in a while, it’s simple and bright and it really catches your attention when you see it.

The PB itself is great, it features many different pictures of Momo posing in bikini and in casual clothes in various places. For example the first picture is one of the many pictures of Momo posing on a bed with a pink pillow, and the second one is just a close-up of her in the same clothes.

The casual shots are well taken and for the most part I liked them (I am a bit biased because I am a fan of hers, but still, they are great).

Overall the PB was great, there are a great mixture of bikini and casual shots, and there are many shots of her being herself. I was really surprised at how the PB came out, I was expecting her to act more mature and have a more serious character, but it’s great to see that she still acts like herself during the photo shoots.

Next release date is in 5 days (8/26) for the release of Buono’s 8th single “Take It Easy!” and Berikyuu Vol 7&8.

Tsugunaga Momoko – “momo ok” DVD Cover Released

The cover for Tsugunaga Momoko’s solo DVD titled momo ok。 has been released. It’s kind of simple, just Momo smiling at the camera with “momo ok” in bubble letters in the bottom and “Tsugunaga Momoko DVD” next to it.

Momo in front of a pool is a great way to set the setting of the PB, and even though there isn’t much else the cover looks great. Hopefully we can get a preview of the DVD soon so we can find out what Momo is going to do in the DVD.

Tsugunaga Momoko – momochiiii PB Preview

Some previews of Tsugunaga Momoko’s 4th PB titled momochiiii have been released. For the most part I really like the pictures, especially the alternate cover and the back cover which have Momo in a white outfit in the middle of white feathers and in a blue bikini.

As expected of a PB there are bikini shots, and in the first preview she has a rainbow top that looks like the one that Suzuki used in “Ao Iro” while carrying a fishing net, and the second preview has her with a yellow bikini with red dots while laying down (something Suzuki also did in her PB, but at a different angle).

There are also shots of her posing while wearing normal clothes, such as the first preview which has her in deep thought and sitting inside a building while smiling at the camera. The second preview has her posing in an extremely yellow room (the only thing that doesn’t have yellow is the wall above the boards on the wall and the floor) while wearing a light colored dress in yellow heels.

So far I like how the PB looks, the cover looks great and the previews that are available look great also.

There is also going to be a handshake event for the PB on 8/27 (Source: Official H!P Page), so any Momo fans who happen to be in Japan might want to go to that event.

The PB is set for release on 8/21.

Tsugunaga Momoko’s Solo DVD Title Released, “momo ok。”

The title for Tsugunaga Momoko’s solo DVD has been revealed to be momo ok。on the official UFA website. The title is somewhat simple but it kind of reflects Momo’s personality (In other words, I could imagine her saying that).

The title for both of Momo’s releases have a certain cuteness that could possibly mean that Momo picked them out herself (“momochiiii”, and “momo ok”). Hopefully we will get a preview soon or at least a cover.

The release date for the solo DVD is 9/9.

Tsugunaga Momoko – momochiiii PB Cover Released

The cover for Tsugunaga Momoko’s 4th PB titled momochiiii has been released on the Wanibooks website. I am really impressed with the cover, mostly because they managed to make Momo look really mature and cute with a simple white theme.

It’s one of the few PBs that have managed to be released by UFA without a bikini on the front, and so far I really like the results. The feather and the white light somehow make Momo look like an angel, in fact the only thing that is not white is the pink “4″ which signifies her 4th PB. Great job UFA you are impressing me with your high quality non-bikini covers, hopefully she has more that follow this trend.

Tsugunaga Momoko’s 4th PB “momochiiii” Announced

Tsugunaga Momoko’s 4th PB titled momochiiii has been announced. The title is somewhat eyecatching, although “momochiiii” isn’t that imaginative, it captures her personality perfectly. Eitherway I can’t wait to see what kind of theme they are going to use since the title suggests a slightly playful and cheery Momo.

They could also be trying out a slightly different theme compared to her other PBs, which is always interesting. Hopefully they will have a great cover for it (although PBs are always a bikini picture and the title in simple font), and like most Momo fans I can’t wait to see some previews (which might start appearing near the beginning of August).

WaniBooks Announcement For Release Of Momo’s 4th PB

Tsugunaga Momoko Solo DVD Announced

A solo DVD has been announced for Tsugunaga Momoko, like usual there is a solo DVD announcement and then a PB announcement, so it’s a matter of days before we get the confirmation that there is going to be a new Momoko PB.

A PB from her was kind of expected, since she is one of the most popular Berryz Koubou members, and because there was already PB’s announced for Morning Musume and C-ute, a Berryz Koubou PB was not that far off.

The release date for Tsugunaga Momoko’s solo DVD is 9/9.
