5 releases today, Berryz Koubou’s DVD for their Spring concert tour 2009 ~Sono Subete no Ai ni~ and 4 versions of Mano Erina’s latest single “Sekai wa Summer Party”:

Berryz Koubou Spring 2009 Concert Tour ~Sono Subete no Ai ni~, Berryz Koubou’s latest concert DVD (debuted on Oricon at #1) with 30 tracks which include various MC’s and performances of their latest double A-side single “Seishun Bus Guide” and “Rival” and a special 100th concert performance of “Bye Bye Mata Ne” .

Dakishimete Dakishimete is the first performance, which is a great start to the concert since it got the crowd pumped up, and as the concert progresses it gets better and better. I haven’t seen it completely, but from the few performances (Dakishimete Dakishimete, Rival, Seishun Bus Guide) I have seen I can honestly say this is an incredible concert.

Overall recommended, the concert in itself is a must have for fans since they perform a lot of songs, and it is also a great way for those people who are starting to like Berryz Koubou to get to know some of their songs.

Mano Erina – Sekai wa Summer Party, Mano Erina’s 3rd major single which debuted on the Oricon on 6th position. The c/w is titled Jasmine Tea and it has a soft (almost disney-like) sound, which combined with Mano’s voice results in an incredible ballad.

The A-side, Sekai wa Summer Party (translated it means “The world’s summer party”), is an upbeat song which has a catchy rhythm and lyrics. S/mileage are the back dancer’s for the PV which features Mano packing for a trip around the world.

This single recieved a lot of promotion, including many appearances in notable shows and her own bus, UFA seriously pushed this single a lot, and hopefully it will pay off in the long run. Overall this single is recommended to Mano fans, and hopefully she can release more upbeat singles similar to this one.

Next release date is 8/5 with two Mano releases, her debut concert DVD and the Single-V for “Sekai wa Summer Party”.

Morning Musume – Aki Urara Preview Released

29 07 2009

Morning Musume 1241

A preview of Morning Musume’s c/w to Regular and Limited A & B versions titled Aki Urara has been released. The song is slightly slower than Nachatte Renai but it has a more R&B styled sound than most of their recent releases.

The preview is of cellphone quality so I can’t make out most of the voices, but for sure I hear Takahashi and Tanaka. I think I hear Niigaki, Kamei (I’m slightly sure that GakiKame sing, but I’m not entirely sure) and Michishige (it might be Takahashi singing in a low voice).

Since the preview for Aki Urara has been released, it’s only a matter of time until we get a preview for the 40th Commemorative Edition c/w “Subete wa Ai no Chikara”.

The release date for Morning Musume’s 40th single Nanchatte Renai is set for 8/12.

EDIT: Added higher quality preview

The full tracklist for Morning Musume’s 5th PV collection titled Eizou The Morning Musume 5 ~Single M Clips~ has been released on the official H!P website.

Every PV from Resonant Blue onward is included in the collection (a total of 5 PVs), and a surprising addition is that they are including the UFA-made 3,2,1 BREAKIN’ OUT PV as well, along with 5 alternate version of the original PVs on the second disc.

Since there will be no Single V release for Nanchatte Renai this PV collection includes the Nanchatte Renai and 3,2,1 BREAKIN’ OUT Making Of’s, and the winning Myspace OPV is included in the last disc on the last track (somewhat like they added it in at the last moment) and renamed 3,2,1 BREAKIN’ OUT Animation Mix.

Overall a pretty decent collection although I would have preferred to see the “Another Ver.” for Resonant Blue included instead of the “Night Scene Ver.”, and the “Dance Shot Ver.” of Shouganai Yume Oibito instead of the “Drama Ver.”, but I am still pretty satisfied with the setlist.

The release date is set for 8/19.

EDIT: Bigger Cover Added

The full tracklist for Guardians 4’s 2nd single titled School Days has been released. The c/w’s title is “Itsuka Doko ka de” (according to Google it translates to “Someday Somewhere”) which possibly means it’s a ballad or a slow song.

The release date is set for 9/2.
