Fujimoto Miki Is Officially Married

It was officially revealed that Fujimoto Miki is now married to longtime boyfriend, Shouji Shinagawa, the couple married in Hawaii this July. First of all, congratulations to the happy couple! It was suspected that Miki was already in Hawaii earlier this July because of this photo on her blog:

The image is dated 7/5, and in it we see Miki posing with a Hawaii cup, the ring she has on is probably the engagement ring. Nevertheless I wish the couple a long marriage, congratulations Mikitty!

Edit: This article mentions that the couple was married on 7/3, so the picture above of Miki holding the cup is after their wedding, so the ring is probably the wedding ring.

Random H!P Vol 19

11 07 2009

It’s that day again (and the same name since I couldn’t think of another). First up, polls: Guu-chan (suprisingly) won with 32 votes, followed by Pei Pei (25 votes) and Rei Rei (14 votes), so congratulations to Guu-chan! The next poll will be about the new groups that have appeared on the Chanpuru album, this time we start with Tanpopo #, so please vote.

Profiles: I couldn’t work on them as planned (a.k.a – I stayed up late and I slept most of the free time), but my new goal next week is to finish the person profiles (since realistically it can be done). After that I plan on starting the profiles on the groups and I hope to have most of the members and groups of H!P by the time the section is complete.

Also there is going to be a slight banner change for a few days because of Sayu’s birthday (for two days), it’s not the best thing I’ve made but it isn’t permanent, I’ll go back to the original banner after that.

This weeks video is the last episode of the special video game week taught by Miyabi (since I already added the other four I decided to add this one), I will try and get more episodes up (since my remix and other video supply is limited right now I decided on making it a Yorosen section for a while).

This episode might make some video game players nostalgic since it has the Berryz Koubou girls testing out the first Game & Watch systems that were available from Nintendo at that time. Funny points to look out for: the enthusiastic goodbye the girls do at the end, and Miyabi’s advice for Momoko.

“Meet Tokyo Girl” Episode 7 Summary

11 07 2009

Jang Dayun 123414

This weeks episode is the end of the auditions and at the end of the episode the winner is announced (who everyone knows is Jang Dayun). The episode starts with the girls seeing the stage where they are going to perform at Berryz Koubou’s concert, and when they are all asked to say what they think about it, they all reply it’s big.

They all practice and then there is a long monologue about the girls and how they are all great friends, and then there is a mini-montage of the girls they show in parts with moments from the start of the audition. At the middle they are visited by Shimizu and they are wished good luck and get to watch Berryz Koubou rehearse before they go back to the second mini-montage part.

After another break from the mini-montage the families meet up with them at the waiting room and wish them good luck, and they are also greeted by the eliminated members who wish them luck, then they show the final third mini-montage part. After the montage is over it’s performance day and the girls perform in front of the audience with everyone commenting on how Dayun got a lot of cheers when she sang.

Tsunku arrives and after the Berryz Koubou concert is over he gets on stage and he starts congratulating the girls on how they have all improved. Then he starts naming the girls that are eliminated in order: Soojin, Chohye, Dawon, Yerin, Yumi.

Sori, Dayun, and Yunsoo are the last girls left and Tsunku compliments them before saying “However only one person can join Hello! Pro” and he then announces Jang Dayun as the winner, walks slowly to her, gives her some flowers and returns slowly like nothing happened back to where he was while smiling. The ones who lost are sad but they congratulate her and meet up with everyone outside where they take pictures, talk, and congratulate Dayun.

After that the show ends with a close-up of Jang Dayun with a somewhat sad song, and from that I guess the show has ended. Congratulations to Jang Dayun, and I hope she enjoys being a member of H!P. Thanks to itsmiina @ H!O for summarizing the episodes and making it easier for us to understand what was going on.

Apparently this is the final singer list for Chanpuru ~Happy Marriage Song Cover Shuu~. I was kind of surprised that Aa! (Natsuyaki Miyabi, Suzuki Airi, Saho Akari) doesn’t have Reina, she is an original member of the group but she was replaced with Saho for some reason.

Zoku Biyuuden (Michishige Sayumi, Junjun, and Risako): I was expecting Sayu to be in the group, but I never thought Risako would be in it, it might be interesting to see what image they go for. Tanpopo #, (Kami Eri, Mitsui Aika, Kumai Yurina, Okai Chisato): all of the members have the “井” Kanji in their name (most likely that is where they got the #).

ZYX-α (Niigaki, Kusumi,Momoko, Chinami, Maasa, Umeda Erika, Wada Ayaka, Ogawa Saki): has some of the original members plus Niigaki and Koharu who are full of energy, it’s good that they included 2 senpai’s, 4 H!P Kids, and 2 Eggs since it has a sort of variety.

Pucchi Moni V (Nakajima, Hagiwara, Mano): I didn’t expect Nakajima in the group, but hopefully they do good. And Shin Minimoni (Linlin, Fukuda, Takeuchi, Miyamoto): there were rumors going around of Takeuchi and Miyamoto being in the group, but I would like to see how this might turn out, since Takeuchi and Miyamoto are among the youngest eggs, but so far it seems like a good combination.

Other than that High King has all of it’s original members and the rest are just members singing together with no group name or solo. The absence of original members is probably because each member got into one group only, so I guess Tsunku is probably planning on making this semi-permanent for some time, although this is only a guess.

The album is set for release on 7/15.

EDIT 7/11: The list has been confirmed by photos of the booklet, High King has all of it’s original members, and everyone in the album is in only one group, Tsunku is probably planning on keeping them for a bit more (possibility):
